Continually getting "robo-calls" from 386-427-6893 about extending my auto warranty. Options given are: Push 1 to speak to a representative about extending my auto warranty, or Push 2 to end the calls. When I've pressed 1, I've asked the "rep" for the name of his company and he ***g up. When I've pushed 2 to end the calls, I just keep getting them. The techniques used on these calls and the fact that I have no auto under warranty are a clear indication that the callers are trying to use "your auto warranty is expiring" as a scare tactic. It's obviously a SCAM.

Do not call me!
Call came from New Smyrna Beach Florida to Kansas at 18:33 hours on 2-9-09. Call not answered and no message left, but several sites advise this is a typical auto warranty scam. Nuke 'em
I recieved a call from this number about lowering my interest rate on my credit cards. I said I wasn't interested, then called the number back to be removed from the call list. When the number engaged a recording said the number was no longer in service.
Please make these calls disappear, you can't even get a nap in during the day for these crazy calls.
Call came from New Smyrna Beach, FLorida to Kansas at 18:22 hours on 2-9-09. Call was not answered, and no message left. Others advise that this is the classic "Car Warranty About To Expire" scam.
Not sure who they are but they keep calling me
I have been receiving calls from the following numbers:386-427-6893305-474-9429305-222-1966904-259-4351 All of these numbers are disconnected, never give these people any personal or financial information, this is a SCAM....They are trying to save you money on Credit Card Rates, Mortgages Rates, Car Insurance AND SO ON....THEY DON'T KNOW YOU AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU...THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO SWINDLE YOU INTO GIVING THEM PERSONAL DATA, DON'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING!!!!
another car warranty scam.
Caller was asking me to be a subject in an Alien Experiment where they send the police out and handcuff you and haul you 120 miles to the nearest mental health facility and force poisonous drugs on you and unsavory peoples not of your own culture as well as gang members with crosses in the crooks of their hands which like to call people ****ies But I told him he got it all wrong that the bad aliens are the political criminals are the police and judges and business administrators anf PHD holders that are responsible for forcing their will upon my soul. I have only one comandment in my soul...premature ***** to any or all who force their will upon my soul without my wanting it there in the first place.
FOLLOWUP TO LAST WEEK'S POST: According to a very helpful detective in New Smyrna beach, this phone # was "Masked or S****ed"- >>The phone number used by the culprits has been out of service in the area since 1998 (it was reserved by the city, but was never used).>>He also said that if you end up speaking to someone and they curse at you, you can file a complaint with the FCC. FCC (Federal Communication Commission) for any calls of this nature. You can call them at: 1-800-225-5322 or go on line to: [email protected] and follow the links to the Complaint section.(and dont' forget to also file at DONOTCALL.GOV)Wish the phone companies would do so****ing about people abusing the privileges they provide!
They called and I pressed 1 to speak to a customer service rep. They asked me my type and year of car. I told them they should know it they called me and they ***g up right away. I called back and the phone number was disconnected.
I've been getting calls from these scammers for months. Here's the deal. They are using a caller ID s****ing device or service so there is NO way to find out who they are short of doing a call trace like the *57 feature with Verizon. But here's the kicker (aside from Verizon charging you a dollar every time you use the trace feature). The phone company will not reveal the result of the trace to you. They'll only reveal it to a law enforcement agency. Yeah, the phone company will protect the privacy of the scammer but not you.The "Do Not Call" list with the FCC works great with legitimate telemarketers, not with these guys. According to the woman I spoke to in the Verizon Unlawful Call department many of these calls don't even originate in the US. They are coming from phone banks in Jamaica and Costa Ri*****n you believe in this age of 9/11 paranoia that it is NOT illegal to fake your caller ID?*****, some phone companies even offer the scammers the service that ALLOWS them to fake the ID.
This #386-427-6893 called me and do not leave a message and I am on the do not call list.
The phone rings, a Florida number 386-427-6893, the message states the warrany on my car is about to expire, prompts for a number to be pushed to talk to a rep, then they come on saying "Your Vehicle number and make please", I answer,,,"You called me, should you not have that already?, oh, is this a scam?"....the next thing I hear "CLICK", they **** up on me.
I took the info from the post just before mine and called 1-888-427-6893 ext. 4207. I spoke to a man who immediately put me on perma-hold. I called him right back at extension 4207 and told him I would call him over and over daily until he got me to his supervisor to remove me from their list.He did transfer me to his "supervisor" who wanted to get me off the phone fast. She said my number would be removed from their list in about 72 hours. We'll see. If I get another call from them, I will make good on my promise to call back over and over and over and over.... Just like they do!Call them to get your number removed!
Received call from 386-427-6893. Caller ID read Florida Call. When answered, recoreder stated "car warranty about to expire". I ***g up. I have no auto warranty. When called back, recording s****ed "phone disconnected". S C A M -- S C A M --S C A M --S C A M-- How could a phone # be disconnected and calls are reported as being made from it?
they are pacific guard warranty in pleasent hill ca. reall phone number is 1888-282-3524x4207 jessica... stop calling us !!!
I have a large home. The phone rings and I RUN to catch it in time...and it's the SAME number over and over a***n. This call first comes to our home line and then a***n a few minutes later to our business line...DAILY. I tried the number back and the recording says it's been disconnected. All the caller ID gives me is the number and that it's a Florida call. I'm calling Verizon to see what can be done about it. If everyone calls Verizon (or w***ver your carrier is) maybe we can get this to stop.
they call me several times a day . i did a little checking and found they are pacific guard warrenty in pleasent hill ca their real phone number is 1888-282-3524 x 4207 jessica... now we know who they are im sure they will be c****ing their number !!! stop calling us !!
so here's the deal - i get these calls all the time. when i spoke with a live person after keeping them on the phone for a few minutes I said to them "thank you for your time which was just enough to have your call traced and the police should be there within a few moments". Buh bye. I figure let them wonder if they connected with the wrong person or not. Please know the reason you are not able to call them back is it is a "one-way" phone number that telemarketers and scammers use.
same as everyone else. i push 1 simply to ask them to put me on the do not call list. Daniel says he can not do that. i remind him i have registered with the national do not call registry and the smart a** asks "how is that working out for you?" and ****s up. when you try to call the number that shows up on the caller id the recording simply says the number is not in service or so****ing like that. this is the second cal from the same number and both times ***g up on.
I have been receiving phone calls from these people every once and a while fo about 2 months. When I ask any questions they just **** up on me. I just received a call about 10 mins ago and they ***g up when I asked the name of their company. Im going to attempt some more research to see if I can contact them.
Get repeated calls from this number despite being on DO NOT CALL list. I have tried to answer a couple of time, but when I pick up it ****s up. Leaves a message about an important offer for lowering my credit card debt. Like everyone else, return call gets disconnected message. I file complaints with the FCC for unwanted telemarketing call and with DONOTCALL.gov. You should do the same.
didnt know who it was so i let the ma****e get and no message.i called back the number a m,inute later and it was diconnected. im glad i found this sight
Called me several times a week back in December;it's s****ing up a***n. So much for being onthe Do Not Call List.
I have caller id and never answer these kinds of calls. Sometimes I have my answering ma****e on and sometimes I don't.I just want to know one thing: Do these people actually have people signing up with them for whatever it is they're trying to sell: extended car warranties and that's why they continue calling forever? Well, their computer is calling at random anyway.
someone called me from this number but I didn't get a chance to answer the phone but I pressed *69 and this was the number I got then I tried calling the number back and the operator said it was disconnected. I thought it was strange for someone to be calling me from a discconnected number. How is that possible? I researched this number online and that's when I found this website. Thank God for this website now I know the phone call was just a scam
same here, they called dec 31about car warranty then jan 2 about interest rates. SCAMMERS!!!
no one there when answered....
Looks like a telemarketer. When asked if it was a sales call I was told they were the distributer of ALL North America warrenties. total scamI was ***g up on when asked too many questions.
Just a *****ling sound on the phone. Don't normally answer numbers I don't know. Those phoney warranty companies call about a warranty on a car you don't even own. Real scammers.
****** computer calls my home and says my car warranty is going to expire, and I don't even have a car. I ****ed up but I hope this is not a scam that charges your phone bill or so****ing. they called on Dec 27 at 10:45 AM . I am in Queens New york.
I was called from this # on Dec.26 8:20 PMI called back and was told the number was disconected
First, this automated ma****e called me Christmas Eve me about a "warrant" on a car that was about to expire. I dialed "1" to ask the person to take me off their list because I am on the do not call list. THE FOLLOWING DIALOGUE TOOK PLACE:Me: "Take me off your list."Scam Artist: "Awww. Schucks. Why?"Me: "Because it's Christmas Eve, and I told you to. You dont need to know why."Scam Artist: "I dont have to anything you tell me to."END OF CONVERSATION/SCAM ARTIST ****S UP.I do not know for sure whether or not he took my name off the list, today is only Dec 26th.
Automated tape recording states that it is your last chance before losing your automobile warranty. When you press 1 (Pressing 2 to be deleted from future solicitations does NOT wor****) When the person gets on the phone they ask for the year and make of your vehicle. Don't forget they were calling you about your vehicle, right. Just thank them for the $2,500.00 the attorney general of your state will be collecting on your behalf as they continue to call your number which is on the Federal DO NOT Registry. They will be at a loss for words and **** up on you. You may even get your number deleted from their database. If not do the same thing the next time they call;-))
Scam from the same company that calls me continuously from various Florida phone numbers that have been disconnected. This last I talked to "Lindsay," I wanted to tell her that it won't do any good for them to call me because I'm on to them. She ***g up before I got a word in...
No message, no idea.
