This could be NCB(debt collector) related because Citizens Bank have different number now(800-92*-***) which IS listed on Citizens bank website.
Keeps calling at least monthly - never a message. When i called it back it says its a Citizens Bank Number no longer in service (6/4/2009) and to call their 1800 number

OVER 50 CALLS IN THE LAST YEAR, COMING FROM CITIZENS BANK. COMPLAINED TO THE BANK NUMEROUS TIMES, NO LUCK. CLOSING ACCOUNTS AND TURNING IT OVER TO THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE. STAY AWAY FROM CITIZENS BANK OR THEY'LL HARASS THE***** OUT OF YOU WITH "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION" CALLS.
Call from Citizen's Bank to see how satisfied you are with them. I was satisfied, so that was the only question he had for me.
They called three times in a matter of a few minutes...we didn't answer but they never left a message...I called the number back and it said it was for Citizens Bank but the line was no longer in use..then it said to call their 800#.
Same as Stephen's comment. Keeps calling and only beeping. I tried to fax a note to stop calling but this never went through.
They called me a***n today and I picked up. They said they're doing a survey to see how satisfied I am with Citizens, from Extremely satisfied, very satisfied, satisfied, not satisfied... It was the the only one question asked and then told me to have a good day. It was an older lady calling and it did seem a bit shady.
This number has called me several times in the last week or two. I have not responded, nor do they even leave a message. I will probably respond next time jsut to see who it really is and what they really want. I have a business account with Citizens if it is them, but its not much.
Have gotten lots of calls from this number -- early in the morning and in the evening. Today received a call at 11:20pm from this number. When I answered, there was ***ody there. I don't know how to stop the calls. I'm on the Do Not Call list.

they called me at 3pm on april 10th. no message was left- so I called back and it was a recording saying the number is citizens bank but the number is out of service.
I got a call from this number this afternoon on my cell phone claiming "It's Joanna from Citizens Bank - it's very important that you return my call as soon as possible." When I called, it was supposedly after hours, but I'm concerned this may be a scam. I have no Citizens Bank accounts.
Received two, 10 minutes apart in Michigan. Only got beeping on the other end. May have been a fax but didn't have the normal squeal...
Citizens Bank uses this number for a lot of reasons. I've heard of calls from the same number for surveys, collections, bank errors, and a lot of other things. If you have an account with them then you might want to answer when they call - if not then don't answer.
