Got a call from (401) 283-0704 number stating that I owe taxes from 2011 through 2016 in a amount of 5,450 dollars. They wanted me to pay via voucher, so then I could get a bar code to go to the IRS office to get my official tax form do***ents. At the end the caller threatened to arrest me and stated "He will talk to me from a jail cell". Person has an accent and was hard to understand.

Says I'm being charged with an IRS crime and there is a warrant for my arrest and they are wat****g my home and will seize my property.

The message says that the IRS has a warrant for my arrest and that my physical and financial property is in danger unless I call the number. Don't be fooled by this: the IRS mails letters to your home and NEVER calls you with a pre-recorded message!

I got a voice mail from them saying there was an arrest warrant out for me and they are wat****g me and my home to call them back. When I called back it sounded like a room full of telemarketers trying to scam people. They all had accents as if they were from India. Total Scam!!!

I didn't answer the phone because I didn't recognize the number and I had a voicemail from a robot saying that this is the IRS calling that they have issued a warrant for my arrest and my home and personal property are being watched. They said to call the number back to avoid further legal action is taken.

This is the message left on my voicemail. You right now you and your physical property those are being monitored and it's very important that I do hear back from you as soon as possible before we proceed further in any legal manner.
