Called about replacing the Gas Meter

Replace gas meter call a number to schedule appointment

An automated voice stated my name and asked me to press 1, which I did (probably a bad move on my part...) they then put me on hold and music played. I quickly ***g up.

Says they’re national grid and meter needs replacement. Not a number registered to National Grid. Called National Grid to confirm.

She left a message to call and sched an appt to replace my gas meter. I dialed in myself to National Grid customer service to schedule it. And yes they ask for the last four of my ssn and my utility acct number.
