He wanted me to pay a $55 application fee. And wouldn’t send me pictures, when I asked he said I had to pay the $55 first. Then I looked him up and Facebook and it said he was living in ***zil.

He pretended to be a rental property agent while I was looking for an apartment. He sent me a ****ty looking application with incorrect grammar and told me to cash app him the application fee. Even when testing him to see the property, he told me in terrible, seemingly broken English that I couldn't see the property until I cash app him the money. It was so unprofessional, but I was in such desperate need of a place to stay that I went with. The application asked for personal information such as current address, phone number, etc.. Anyway, I'm going to contact police with this information since he does have my current address.
