I received two messages on my office phone asking for my social security number, email address, etc.  claiming they have a legal suit in court and if I do not call back, I would face the consequences.  Ironically, I thought it was a phishing attack via the phone.   I could hear in the background noises similar to a call center.   I got two returned numbers  760-284-4672 and 401-648-6759.   Both voices sounded like they were from India.  The first caller's name was Alex Barters and the second one was Sean Howard.   Neither of their voices sounded American or English.

I got phone calls from this company before as well. They said i took out an online cash advance but never paid it. I have proof that i never received the funds they were talking about but they wouldnt listen. I told them before to serve me with papers and i will see them in court but they never did and the calls stopped up until a week ago. They s****ed calling me a***n with the same claim. They were very rude and ***g up on me twice as i was trying to get the information for this socalled litigation. Theyve been harassing my cousin also and ive lost a friend over them!

I got 5 calls from this number today -- two voice mails were left -- AND they called my parents telling me that I need to call back or be involved in some kind of legal mess.  I called the number and told them that they needed to stop harassing me; stop threatening me; and then gave them my attorney's telephone number.  It seems that it is a third-party collection company trying to collect on debts that were sold by another company.  Needless to say, this kind of harassment is TOTALLY illegal!  I filed a complaint with the Rhode Island Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit and with the Rhode Island Better Business Bureau.
