I got a call from BCI, couldn't understand the caller because of the thick middle eastern accent.  He transferred me  to a Junior Verification officer "Mark".  When I s****ed questioning him about details and having him repeat himself because he was hard to understand, he transferred me to the Chief Verification Officer "Michael" who had an accent as well.  I could understand him better though.  He told me that I had been repeatedly emailed, which I never got anything from anyone.  I asked for papaerwork to be sent to my mailing address and he wouldn't do it, he told me I would see the papers when I was arrested.  He also told me that the loan for $300.00 was sometime within the last year.  It was going to cost me $15000.00 to $18000.00 when I go to court and I would spend 6-8 months in prison.  This is not the first time they have called me.  The last time I requested paperwork as well and never got anything.  I also called the Sherif's Department to check the validity of the arrest warrant, there wasn't one.  This time I reported them to the FTC with the number Brian from Florida provided.

THIS PERSON CALLS AND SAYS I OWE THEM MONEY BUT THEY DON'T PROVE IT OR TELL ME WHO IT IS FOR . HOW D I STOP THEM FROM CALLING? THEY TOLD ME THEY WANT ME TO GET A ATTERNY

OFFICER JAMES BROW HAS BEEN CALLING ME FOR THE LAST WEEK TELLING ME HE'S GOING TO HAVE ME ARRESTED AND FIRED FROM MY JOB I DON'T KNOW WHO TO REPORT HIM TO CAN SOME ONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got the same call from several numbers.  One from Washington state 206-567-9500 and one from CA 760-933-5402.  Officers are on their way to my place of work to arrest me.  I will lose my job, my home, my family and my life as I know it. I had officer "David" with a very think Packistan-type accent.  Interesting.  Did not know "David was a common name in ****stan".  I have a couple friends who are police officers with real badge numbers so I think we will give Officer David call.

I just received 3 phone calls from this phone #  and she said her name was Lt. Green from Bureau of Criminal investigation, she had a claim a***nst me. I"m glad i looked up this number on google.Where do you go to report this?

I just reported officer james brown and all his threats to the FBI and Attorney General.....this is so crazy that people actually fall for this.......they wanted me to fax a signed authorization to them...I am faxing the fbi  and list of blogs instead.......

I am now dealing with James brow, ha what a joke....is this really a scam?

Just as an update, I called the FCC and reported them.  They strongly urge anyone who is receiving calls from this number to call them right away to report this.  The FCC number i called is 877-382-4357.

Thank god to all of you who posted here.  I received a call from an "Officer Mark Robinson" with BCI (I think... or maybe VCI) at 6:06pm on 6/14.  Same message left as what other people have stated here. Of course, I called back.  Now, I used to work in the cell phone industry and to me it sounded like they had me on a cell phone speaker.  I had a lot of echoing that you only hear from a cell phone's speaker phone option.  When talking to this person, they refused to give me any information... only that giving them my bank information would make this go away.  I pushed and he wouldn't budge.  While he had m on hold, I did a google search and found this page (thank god).  When I requested any kind of paperwork on this loan, he stated it "wasn't his job" and that "You already received this paperwork".Playing devils advocate, I requested to speak to a supervisor.  It almost sounded like they just hit the mute ****on and handed the phone to someone else.  Got the same thing from an "Officer Richard ***t".  In the end, i told them to proceed with whatever lawsuit there was and their "lawyers" would have to give me the paperwork I was requesting.  And like what others have said before... I was told this "Officers will be at your home or work shortly to take you into custody.  Only god can help you now."  I knew right then and there this was a scam.  I have done payday advances before and I have looked at the law.  Simply put, you cannot be put in jail for defaulting on a payday loan.  They can sue you in civil court, but you cannot be arrested.Thank you to each and every one of you on here.  You saved me on this scam.

I received several calls from someone claiming to be Officer Mark Robinson with the bureau of criminal identification.  I returned the call and was transferred to Chief Verifications Officer Karen Jones.  The first thing that struck me to be strange was that these people claimed to represent an American federal police department but could barely speak English.  They said that I owed $586.00 on a payday loan taken out through Cash Advance USA last year and that they had attempted to notify me via email.  I have never taken a payday loan from this company and have never received an email notification.  When I became pushy about receiving a copy of the Agreement I would have signed with this company, "Officer Jones", became very short with me and told me to have my attorney call her back before noon today or I would be detained at my work place.  Beware, this is a huge scam!

Yes it is a scam. A person by the name of Alexander Daniels or Davis (with a heavy middle eastern accent and it sounded like he was calling form a metal box) called me saying I owed on a payday loan form 2008.  At first he would not tell me when, then finally said novemebr or decmebr - I though it odd that they did not know when it was taken out.  I asked why this was the first I was hearing about it and they said they sent me an e-mail, I aksed when, and they said in decemebr of 2008.  So I asked how I could have taken out a loan and been in default the same molnth.  Then I aksed for the name of the comnpany - they said sjm marketing - I have never heard of this company - they told me that they own many payday companies and it could have been with one of them.  At this point i told "alexander that I kenw it was a scam and ***g up.  I called sjm marketing - they do not make loans - only match lenders and borrowers.  They also told me that they have recently become aware theses scammer are suing thier company name.  They did give me the number for the main lender they refer to - I also spoke to them - they have never even heard of me either - and in fact sjm only operates in califonia and they only refer to leneders who operate in california - people this is a big scam, do not fall for it.  If you get a call report it to you state attorney general, the FBI and Homeland Security.

Some one keeps calling my old work number from this number. When I call them back all the circuits are busy atnd I can't get through. I am not sure what they say because they will not take my number to call me. I was recently called by some one statng they were an attorney and if I did not pa the outstanding balance i would be arrested. It was out of california and it was a fraud. I called the California bar****ociation and they called. when they called the person ***g up and has never called me back. I think this might be the same thing.

I have no idea who this is.
