They called out my cellphone and I never give it out. I am on a do not call list.

Depending on how long you've been on the do not call list, it might not matter. The donotcall.gov site says you have to be on there for 31 days before it's enforced. Also, I just glanced through it, but it seems like there have been c****es to the telemarketing regulations in the past few years and if it's been years since you registered, I don't think it would hurt to do it a***n. O, and I got a call from them today. Their initial automated message was a little threatening. It said so****ing about it being the final call and that they've sent me mailers. Then it transfered me to a "friendly" customer service rep, she asked if I was calling to lower my interest rates. I told her I just received the call and I wasn't sure why, so she ***g up on me. Any legitimate business would list their name in their outbound automated calls and not just say "account services."

Automated call regarding lowing your interest rates on credit cards. States that you must act quickly and press one to speak to a respresentative.

I have been swamped with these types of calls since 01-01-2011.  I reported these numbers to the FCC only to get a make response they did not qualify for a complaint.  What qualifies?  I am on the DNC list and continue to receive 10 calls a day from various numbers.  I too, have not given my cell phone number out to any company, ins***ution, etc.

Oh, I forgot, when they called me back a***n on my home number, the phone number was completely different.  It came up as 305-202-1961.

Say they're a company called Account Services.  Ask for your Mastercard or Visa account #'s and expiration dates saying they can lower your interest rates on your cards.  Fortunately, my accounts are closed, and I don't have a valid card currently, but I called my Credit Card company, and they said they shouldn't be asking for any SS#'s or your account numbers.  It's a good chance, this is Fraud.  The person who called me, said she didn't have a direct #, so she gave me her personal number.  Her name was Leah Cole and the number she said for me to call back and leave a message was 407-473-1950.First of all the area code 402 is Omaha, NE.  Area code 407 is Orlando, FL.  BE CAREFUL!!!
