Leave a CommentI had a text exactly the same. I live in KC but have never banked at Central Bank of KC. When you try to call the number 402-403-1564 it will ring once and then get a busy signal. I wonder what is going on?
I had a text exactly the same. Though I lived in Kansas City for several years, I have never banked there. I believe the bank is real, but this message is not. All the banks real numbers have an area code of (816).
Has anyone ever received a text from this number indicating that their Central Bank of Kansas City debit card has been deactivated? Sounds to me like this number is phishing for information.
