I've requested to be put on their Do Not Call list on three separate occasions, but just found another call from them tonight.  I used to take the Sunday paper, but finally dropped that since they wouldn't stop calling.  The Journal Star is clueless!

This is the Journal Star sales department.  I get calls from this number weekly.  Despite numerous attempts to have my number removed from my list. I have resorted to programming this number in my cell phone with a SILENT ringer.  I will never subscribe a***n!!!  What a GREAT way to irritate your former customers!

They call me all the time as well! Drives me nuts. A lot of times ***ody even answers if I answer. I would like to tell them "your paper ****s and all the good info is put out online, so why do I need it?"

OH MY GOSH, thanks for this site I know now.  I didn't want to call back cause there was no voicemail.  Now I know- if they call a***n, I am answering and not speaking nicely.  Wow.

I keep getting the calls and I already take the paper from the Journal Star

I keep getting calls from them almost daily... I answered and they said I owed them ******cause they kept sending me the paper when I moved about 200 miles away after I told them to stop sending the paper.

I am getting them now too.  I have just recently signed up to get Sunday's paper.  If they are going to s**** spamming my phone, they will lose my business really fast!

I also get these phone calls frequently but have never answered and was finally by my computer to google it!  Thanks for the info that it is the Lincoln Journal Star.... now I stop wondering!

I have been getting calls from this number for some time.  I answered it once and it was the Lincoln Journal Star.  I called the number and it was in fact the Lincoln Journal Star.  If you get this call a***n, just call them back and file a complaint.  On Monday, March 24th at 6:51 PM, the individual calling my cell actually left a message this time.  Well, sort of.  It was nothing but 30 seconds of heavy breathing.  This is the first time that call went to voicemail.  I have called and filed a complaint with them and to have my name removed from their lists.  The one or two calls from this number that I did answer came from their subscription dept trying to get you to sign up for more papers.  Apparently they don't know that someone they have working for them has nothing better to do than call numbers and breath heavy.  So, that's who it is...the Lincoln Journal Star.
