Warrenty scam on car i no longer own. 2005 Ram 1500

had a missed call about an hour ago but when I called back the phone is no longr in service

I just read some other comments and saw that others called the number back to find it disconnected.  That's a new and tricky scam I haven't heard of before.

I don't answer calls from #'s I don't know.  This one came in on my cell.  When I called it back to see what it was, I got a recording saying the number is no longer in service.

Call came in about 4pm on 10/23. Did not recognize number, did not pick up. A message was lef**** was pre-recorded about some warranty and said it was the last all to take them up on offer. I sure hope so, I'm NOT INTERESTED YOU IDIOTS!I also notice net says number belongs to someone named Joseph Gonzales - 303 E 22nd St,Columbus, NE 68601Let's all pass along this mailing address to people who mail junk mail out and see how this **** likes getting cr*p he doesn't want to get ! ! !

Called me. I called it back - been disconnected (apparently, he didn't pay his bill on time and it just happened to get disconnected between his, no doubt, important call to me and my return call to him). Net says Joseph Gonza***.Probably a prison inmate.

Car warranty scam a***n

just got a call from this number to my cell -- nothing was there, call stayed connected for about 30 seconds, though it didn't appear anyone was there --- then disconnected. Tried to call it back, call would not connect.  no caller ID came up - googled and got the Joseph Gonza*** mentioned above. I HAVE gotten car warranty on my cell before, but from a different number (401-356-4463)

answer then play along and find out who it is and get a real call back number. For example pretend you want their service, but some emergency came up all of a suden and youll call them back. Then call them back to see if they gave you legit info. Then report them to the phone company and the attorney general and the news media etc. this is so annoying. Its wasting my precious and expensive time and cell phone minutes.

I just got the same thing.  Missed call, then try to call back and its no longer inservice.  I have answered it before and its a recording about an extended car warranty.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!  I have always disconnected as soon as I realized it was a recording.

Left a blank message, caller i.d. said Joeseph Gonza***, google has the listing as: Joseph Gonza***  402) 564-9379  303 E 22nd St,  Columbus, NEif only I had a car..ahhh.

Just happened on my cell phone...this stuff is getting old!

yeah, i just got my car , i knew iwas a scam i got a miscall ,when i called back the number was no longer in service 2 minutes after my miscall...scam ..scam..!!!!!
