We have NEVER ordered from them and they call at least 4 times a day and do not leave a message. Tis number is on the Do Not Call list too!

If you order from Omaha Steaks, don't give them a phone number or they will never leave you alone. I canceled my account and still get calls.

I ordered from Omaha steaks online and am on their mailing list. I never stopped to think they would call. I will just ask them not to or I will not be ordering from them a***n........BUT...........their products ... steak, chicken, hamburger, hotdogs, fish,****atoes, deserts............THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!! And really quite practical in price. Well worth the purchase!!!!

Omaha Steaks a***n. They called last week. If you ask them to take you off their list they say they can decrease the call cycle to 4 times a year but just insist that they remove you completely and they will. The person on the phone was nice but very persistent and pushy.

I ordered from them three years ago. They call every holiday season.

Twenty-seven calls so far!  The first time I picked up no one was there.  I called the number and got a single beep.  Good to know that it's only Omaha Steaks.

Just called and it was Omaha Steaks. I asked to be removed from calling list and they said no problem! Yea- calls at all hours were getting annoying.

Omaha steaks.  I did not answer.  First I googled the number, then called back.  I was transferred, and Omaha steaks picked up.  I asked that my number be removed from the calling list.  The person on the phone was polite and said I shouldn't get any more calls.  We will see.

4/13/2009 - 12:33pm.  I rec'd a call from 402-593-7107.  It is a collection company / law firm. Their call back number is 866-655-5826. It is typical ship trace practices that collection companies / law firms get copies of your old bills, look up companies you have done business with in the past AND call you (leaving messages) posing as those companies.  Collection companies contact your phone service provider through skip tracing and get lists of phone numbers you call ILLEGALLY and s**** calling those numbers.  If anyone admits to knowing you they call YOU posing as that person.  They will call as Omaha Steak, your cell phone provider, cable company or your neighbor.  I have had collection companies and law firms contact me posing a police officers (which is highly illegal), court employees and hospital personnel.  My neighbors credit card company skipped traced all the neighbors in my apartment complex, found out our cell phone company, illegally got a copy of our phone bills, called our families/friends asking if they knew my neighbor and asked that he call the credit card company.  My friends, family and co workers were getting made at me that they were getting harassing calls for a neighbor I don;t know. Once they have a good lead your information get's updated in EVERY collection companies computers. If you c****e your number the cell phone providers keep giving STRANGERS your cell phone information. I have file numerous complaints with Consumer Credit Departments at each State Baking Department. No one cares.

I get calls from this number all day long, every day.  It is very annoying.  I tried to call the number back and all I got was a shrill beep from a fax line.

it is from Omha steaks, so they might be calling if you have ordered from them or for somebody else.

Had ordered from Omaha Steaks - now they call back at least once a week. Request/demand that your number be removed from their database if you do not wish to have them soliciting you for more sales.

Omaha Steaks calling asking me to buy hamburger and steak. The lady was nice and I asked them to remove me from their calling list, she said they would but this is the number anyhow.

They called me 3 times today.  I just answered the phone the last time and they ***g up on me.  At least now I know who it is and will ask they take my name off their list.  If I want to buy a***n I will call them.

thanks for the heads up all.  i got a call from them today but didn't pick up... hopefully they don't keep calling.  no vm either.

They called at 7:05pm last night.  A***n today at 9:31am, 12:36pm, and just now at 3:46pm.  No message at any point so I s****ed wondering who it was.  Thanks to this search I know and realize I am not alone.  Like many of you I gave several gift sets to employees this year and ordered so****ing for myself.  Thank God they won't have a way to hound my gift recipients (that I know of).  Now that I know who it is - I will answer next time and tell them they've lost a customer.

put your number on the national do not call list and then file a complaint with them. Also , when they call just tell omaha steaks to take you off thier list and to stop calling.do not call list @ www.donotcall.gov

I ran this number online to see where the calls were coming from. Suprised to see how many other people have been pestered by this. I ordered from Omaha Steaks and sent some steaks as a Christmas present.  I ordered the steaks online.  They have called me three times today without leaving a message:  12:58PM, 4:51PM, and 7:55PM.  I will contact them and they have definitely lost a customer in me.  I will also let my friends and family know.

i ordered from omaha steaks for christmas present.  just received two phone calls from 402-593-7107 a 10 am and 1:42 pm.  Googled the number because I don't know it and i see all of these blogs. Very bad practice! I'm going to answer next time and let them know the same that PGSmith said.

After seeing these comments, I called them back...answered "Omaha Steaks" and I politely asked them not to call me a***n. Said that I would order when I needed to but don't call me. She said that I would be removed from the list. I have ordered from them online. We'll see if this works.

I got 3 phone calls today from Omaha Steaks and they never left a message.  I just called them to get my number taken off their list.  Do they really think that I am sitting around thinking "Well, now that you called, I guess I do need to buy more steaks."  As if they don't harass me enough with emails and catalogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have been calling me too.  I as well never answer unidentified calls.  I thought Omaha Steaks wouldn't NEED to have a call list.  Oh well.  Live and learn, don't give out your number to any place you buy items from.

I "think" I was successful - I emailed Omaha Steaks via their contact form on the website.I explaned what I did not like about their calling practice and referenced specifically this website as proof that they are ruining their reputation.I received an email back that same day - telling me my number has been removed from their list.time will tell.

Received a **** up call from this number. No one there as soon as I answered it. Ordered from Omaha Steaks one time to send food for a funeral for a friend's family out of town.  So nice that when you don't choose to re order and then you ask to remove your email from their twice a day spam email list that they then s**** calling you at home.  ****s. Probably better to be on the other end of the receiving side this time. At least you don't get calls there.

Thanks for the info on Omaha steaks. I never answer a phone number I do not know. They have been ringing my cell for over a week now. They never even bother to leave a message. I will try to contact them via email in the hopes they understand the phrase, "Don't call us, we'll call you. Happy Holidays all.

wow, the same thing just happened to me.I just ordered some Omaha steaks as a sales prize.  They just lost a customer for life.  I expected better from Warren....
