Yep, Info USA... they'll promise to remove your number, but you'll s**** getting calls a***n in a few months... You can add them to the list of companies that ignores Do Not Call. I found a call blocker a few months ago at http://www.BlockTelemarketers.net that works really well... with the push of a ****on it permanently blocks any more calls from an unwanted phone number. It's been a godsend, as I think I'm on every phone SPAM list in the world.

Called from this number. Speaker identified herself as with Express Services, asked to verify phone number and address then ***g up. Call lasted about 15 secs, with no explanation of what was going on.

This company called me and of course I didn't answer. I learned a long time ago not to answer calls from strange area codes. They did leave a voicemail- so****ing about updating search engine info for mobile devices. Sorry. I never trust unsolicited telemarketing. www.dontpanicdoor.com

Quack jobs wanted people to protest at a local cemetery about the Christian Flag being displayed at a local Vet. Mem. Cemetery next week. Wanted people to bring signs to say stuff like God hates ***s, Thank God For Aids. Same Jesus haters from KS? Tried to call back, got a message to press one to be removed. No other info on this number. What****-'wholes'.

called to verify business info - we will probably get a bill for some bogus marketing service soon. bets anyone? can't wait to see if they try to stick it on our phone bill - so far our FREE 3rd party block has kept a lot of those kinds of goobers away. It prevents anyone but our actual telephone provider from being able to charge 'things' to our phone number (bill).

just received a call, ring like I had dial the a number,.... they just **** up. It's a long distance for me so ... I will certainly not pay for that.

INFO USA *****Scammer**** verify information to sell to marketing companies, also jam your telephone bill for internet marketing charges. If you gave them any information - check your phone bill for "extra" charges.

calls repeatedly asking for an "update" to their database, when I ask what this is for they say that it is for online search engines, I tell them we are on the DO NOT CALL list and to take us off their calling list, to which they reply that it is an outbound call center and they can not do that.

If you answered yes to any of their questions check your phone bill for any unrecognized charges (internet, seo, web services etc.) This company is in business to sell your "verified" information to other telemarketers, and to also CRAM your phone bill for services you did NOT authorize. They will say you did authorize and will play back a recorded statement of you saying yes. This of course happened when you verified the already public information. Call your phone company and dispute any charges, you may have to call INFO USA directly if your phone company will not take the cahrges off - or you may have to file a police report. This company is a BIG SCAMMING UNSCRUPULOUS BUSINESS  and should be forced out of business. Good Luck

Always answer these types of calls - they have to pay for completed call. Keep them talking as long as possible with fake info so they have to pay more.

said she was from an info website calling to verify our information. We are a business, but she didn't offer very much information about her company. I gave the info because it is nothing that isn't online anyways. So im kind of confused.. are these people scammers or for real?

my number is NOT a business, yet the keep calling and claim it is. I've had this number for over 5 years. The rep keeps telling me I am a business when this is my home number, and I don't own a business. Have requested to be removed...it doesn't work the keep calling, have reported to the FTC...calls keep comming...what else is left to do?

I received a call from this number, but when I answered the call, no one responded and I suppose the "person" or automatic dialer disconnected the call.

Got a call this morning on our business phone, when I answered there was ringing as if I had called them.  I just ***g up and tagged that number as a do not answer.

received the call from this number and said it's InfoUSA Delphi.  asked about the if my phone number is a corporate phone, street address, and she knows my name also.  After I said yes, she then ***g up.  I tried to ask what this is regarding, she said verify the phone number.  I just don't understand where she got my name and street address!

InfoUSA calls everyday! It's so annoying because we are a business and we do need to answer the phone every time and we just get dead silence and **** up!

This company has refused to remove my number upon my request and has attempted to force me to submit a request via email. That is likely a tactic to obtain email addresses for advertising/sales use. Telemarketers are REQUIRED by the FCC to remove your number from their lists upon your request. There is nothing in the FCC guidelines that say the request must be written. If a telemarketer refuses to remove your number, transfer you to a department that will do so, or provide you with a toll free number for self removal, then you can contact the FCC to file a complaint: 1-888-225-5322.

They keep calling even after i've asked them not to.They want your updated information and then sell it on the internet.

Same kind of call just came in now and I just verified the information. When I realized it, a foreign lady asking too many questions. This better not affect our business or phone bill. I wish call screen was in tact here.

Call me everyday on my Cell Phone. I dont recognize the number so I dont answer. They dont leave a message, just stays on the phone for about 7-8 seconds and that's it. Will report them to the "do not call" since I'm on their list.

This is the 2nd call to my cell phone in 2 days. The left no message either time. I never answer out of state calls unless i recognize the number, but this type of call borders on harrasment...and i registered in the Pa "do not call list", although that doesn't seem to stop these unsolicited calls. can anything be done????

I asked to be removed from their calling list. They told me they could not do that without a written request. I call the number back and pressed zero and got a person. This person said that the written permission was to be removed from the database and not to be removed from the calling list. Make sure you don't ask to be removed from their database, just to be removed from their calling list.
