Leave a CommentI just wonder why the telephone company do not look into these messages and cancel the service to such scammers.
Received call from 402 982-0426 on 10-01-09. Would not give any info as to who they were. I ***g up. I learned long ago. Even my kids don't answer a call they are not familiar with. :>
keep getting these annoying phone calls from ne***ska 402-982-0426 you just won an all inclusive trip to cancun mexico, but - do you have a credit card # so we can hold this for you, i asked how did i win this trip, he said this was disclosed information,i told him so was my f***ing credit card and dont call me a***n!! Was just called by this number 402-982-0426 but I only heard what sounded like the AT&T theme music and then they ***g up. I have AT&T and knew there was no reason for them to be calling me and then ****ing up, so I thought I would check out the number and so here I am. Glad I did.
This number called my cell (first time). Caller was a recording in Broken/Scratchy Spanish, telling me "it's very important that I press number Nine." Needless to say I did not press, and just ***g up. Reading comments above, I have received the AMEX/MasterCard/VISA ending in **** on my home line several times a day. Caller states that I'm en***led to a "Free Gas card valued at $120 as a way of saying Thank you to our loyal customers." When I ask the name of their company – Witch Credit Card - to speak with a supervisor OR to REMOVE me from there calling list, I get ***g up on w/no vital information. (Annoying) Isn’t there some way this can be traced and **** DOWN WITH BIG GUNS!!!!???
08/11/09 - Received ANOTHER Call from (402) 982-0426. They call my cell phone approx. 2 - 3x's a month. I answered an incoming call in July, they claimed to have a "judgment" a***nst me and wanted some money. I told them I am an attorney and that I would like to know more about this "judgment": what state & county it was filed in, Federal or Civil Court (they don't know) and claimant # / claimant position.....then they ***g up.....but they have called back a couple of times since. SCAM
Received the call from 402-982-0426 stayed on the line until an operator picked up. I love scammers. Went through the whole s***l about credit reduction and gave them an old credit card that is closed. When the asked for the number on the back I gave them 1-800-CALLFBI (225-5324). Needless to say I wasn't on hold very long while the tried to look up my credit history. I have call block so the only calls I should get are charities and friends. Scammers just pull from phone lists like the white pages online. Play with them ...It's fun!!!
received a call from (402)982-0426.........it was a recorded message from "Card Services" wanting to lower my interest rate. I ***g up as this is the 6th call from them and it is a scam. I am on the National as well as State Do Not Call list and have received no help after reporting this to them
I can't say I have a complaint. I heard beautiful relaxing music. mexico perhaps.just a recording for me. initial message on what ****ons to press was spoken in spanish.I heard numero uno, then pressed 1. listened to the music for 10 secs, then ***g up. I,m guessing the call retrieved my number through attorney on line site link.
Received a call from 402-982-0426. When I picked it up, no one was there. Do not call these numbers back if your name is on your caller ID. If they are cold dialing, and you call them back, they now have your name and number. Making their scam more believable when they call to ask for Mrs. Smith.
They called and left a message that they had a "prescription" ready for refill. Rx Pharmacy from Miami some guy named "John". When I tried to call back to tell them to leave me alone.....SURPRISE!!!! Call cannot be completed as dialed!
Got a phone call from this phone number stating that I won a prize and that they wanted to verify my credit card information. I was reluctant and tried to keep them on the line long enough to get more information from them. Be Careful!!
THEY CALLED ME.. NO MESSAGE AND WHEN I TRIED TO CALL IT BACK IT SAID THE CALL CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALED IN SOME CREEPY VOICE
I believe this is a scam.
This telemarketer calls consistantly and i am sick and tired of it as is everyone else.THEY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED.
A***n yet another call from this company this time the Caller ID listed "Service Annouc" as the incoming source. I am also on the DO NOT CALL list. Get these people or company if you can, it's a bogus get you credit card number scam!
A recording says they are calling from "account services" regarding my credit card, and that there's no problem with the account, but they would like to offer a lower rate. I pressed 9 to talk to a live person to find out if they're even calling for me, or if it's for my son who no longer lives here. The person would not tell me the company name, just that they can lower my interest rate. I told him that I do not wish to receive such offers and am on the do not call list and he ***g up.
Same here. he freaked out the second I asked for him to verify. I mean, what company just comes out and asks for your credit card #? NONE that is ligit.
They have called me several times. A recorded message says they can lower my credit card rate, the offer is expiring soon, and press 9 for help. When I reached an agent, I asked which credit card they are talking about. They told me they work with Visa, Mastercard, and Am-Ex. I asked specifically which card are the calling about, and they said they can lower interest rates. I told the agent that I pay my balance every month, can they stop calling me. They then told me sure, give me your name. I told them I don't want to give them my name, I don't want them calling, but I can give them my number (we are on the do not call list and unlisted). They then ***g up on me. I have received several calls from these people, and usually they **** up when I ask (after pressing 9) which credit card this is. I suggest you give them NO information!
I am on the do not call list.Same recorded voice as call from Card Services 402-982-0771 on Jul 10

Everyday none time plus I get this annoying call
Please help find the owner of this number--I was called and the person asked for my credit card numbers and said they were going to negotiate a lower percentage. I tried to keep them on the line long enough to have these scammers traced.
missed this phone call but have gotten serveral like this as noted by other people. I am not calling these people back, says out of area!
Got a missed from this number. Google search resulted this site. I didn't called them back.
They have called us 5 times!! We have told them we are on the do not calllist and "mark" the supervisor said "whatever" and ***g up on us. My husband asked them which credit card of ours they were calling about and they said, Citi, American Express, Chase and because we have a debt of more than 4k total we can get all reduced below 6.9%........FUNNY THING....WE PAY OUR CREDIT CARDS OFF EVERY MONTH SO THERE IS NO WAY THEY HAVE OUR INFO AND WE DO NOT HAVE CHASE OR CITI AND WE DO HOLD A CORPORATE AE, BUT A***N IT IS PAID EVERY MONTH. No doubt they are scammers and if they do call a***n we are going to act interested and get a number to call them back so we can report an accurate number to DNC since the number that shows on Caller ID says it is disconnected.......HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?
received call 7.24.09 @11:08am. ID's himself as Mark Anderson w/ Account services, declined ID or badge#. I informed him our # is on Do Not Call registry list. He stated Experian rated and introduced us to them. When I asked for the ph #'s at Experian and Account services, related to this call, so I could call back, he ***g up.
I received the same scam from this phone number--they asked for my credit card numbers and when I told them that I do not give that out over the phone, they replied "Well all someone has to do is to take your credit card statements out of your mailbox." I am worried about these folks and could not trace the call. Is there any way to find them and force legal action.
The call came in on my cell, which I registered under the do-not-call law. Hmmm...consumers following the rules being taking advantage of by crooks. Doesn't feel like much has c****ed in America to me.
They called and said they were representing Visa/Mastercard and could lower my interest rates. They ask for the phone number on the back of the card and card number, then they put you on hold. This gives them enough information to call and get your recent balance and last payment and date. They claim they have the information on their computer screen claiming they are legit because they have that information. Then they want your social security info, address and so. If this happens to you call and cancel the cards and put a fraud alert on your credit reports. This is a SCAM.
This was a Pre-Recorded call about lowering credit card interest rate. When I call the phone number shown on my caller I.D., I get a busy signal. This was also reported to https://www.donotcall.gov/Everyone needs to gets on the Do Not Call registry. The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at this Website. You can register your home and mobile phone for free.Your registration will not expire. Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008.
I didn't answer the call. I called back I got a recording saying that the call couldn't be completed as dialed.
They just called me but I didn't get to the phone fast enough. When I called back I got a recording saying that the call couldn't be completed as dialed. . .please check the number before redialing. Who ARE these people?
