Got a call with some kind of a political opinion survey promising a $100 gift card as a reward. Knew it's fishy already, but parti****ted just for the fun of it. A rather meaningless survey about healthcare/credit cr****/etc, in the end they claim "We now double your $100 gift but it's gonna be a certificate for a cruise, press 1 to be redirected to the operator". Riiiiiiight....

Returned the call, they said to press one to be removed from their call log if not interested in their services, but never mentioned what their service was or who their company was. Sounded fishy....seems like many people on the internet are receiving similar calls.

Annoy the **** out of them the only way you can. I used to get 4-5 of these calls a day.Take the call ... press "1".  Act interested, but slow.  Ask alot of questions, sound excited and eager, but confused.  Repeat back to them alot what they are saying and ask for clarification.  I trolled one guy along for about 15 mins , then finally laughed at him.  He got very very angry and s****ed yelling, saying it would cost me $9.99 a minuite for every minuite on the phone with him (an obvious lie).They will take you off their call list after that.  After I did that, I got no more calls

The calls seem to be pretextual - they provide false caller ID etc. They may be a collection service or similar service, trying to confirm a resident's name DOB SS# etc.I personally made about 15 of these calls daily. Take Care,

They informed me they got my number from so****ing I bought over the phone or on the internet. Guess those info-mercials do sell your info.

this is a s****ed telemarketing call for scam auto warranty services

Just received a call on my cell phone as well.  Will not be answering.  I did just register my vehicle last week with the DMV using this phone number...don't know if that is where they are obtaining this info or from another source.

company is s**** the nubmer, 402-982-0526. claims to be called "warrenty services" and is calling a cell phone. please file an FTC complaint to stop these calls.http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

I just received a call that came on our main line at work - directed at no-one in particular...

Lots of these calls affecting people. If I don't recognize the number, I ignore it. I suggest you do the same if on a cell phone or using caller id. Got hit by this number about five minutes ago.

I've recieved these auto warranty calls 4 times this week. Every time I call back I remove my number from the list but the next day they just call a***n from a different number. It's seriously ridulous!

Called while I was at work on my sell number, which never give out.When I tried to call them back, recorded message said it was marketing line.

This number was listed on a Majac Jack phone line that I have nevered used.

I answered the phone and no one answered.  Also got a call from a Las Vegas number last week.  I believe they are all related.  I have had this cell phone number for 10 years now.  I am on the DNC list.  The cars we currently have are not in my name.  This is annoying...

I missed a call from that same number.. called 2 hours later and a ma****e picked up asking me if I wanted taken out of the calling list.. Very fishy 'cause I've had this this cell phone number for more than 5 years and this is the first time this has happened.. I hope is not related to that one scary movie movie "One Missed Call"

they just called me too i figured it wasnt related to my car cuz ive had mine for a year already and never got this call before. At first i thought it was my insurance compny calling to remind me to renew but theyve never done that so i just hng up.....

Just received the same call.  I opted to press "2" to have the number removed.  I will be shocked if it will work.  My guess is that I just confirmed a "live" number and will get many more calls.

Been getting calls for weeks from these people, finally picked one up. They said they were informing me that my car's warranty was "about to expire" (sure, four years ago) and that they wanted to re-up it... I figured they weren't related to my car at all, because my cell phone (which they were calling) is strictly for personal use and has never been registered with any government bureau, and it's not on my registration (or any related do***ents). Sure enough, I was "aksed" for my name, license plate number, make and model...Shady company? AbsolutelyScam? Possibly
