Leave a CommentI got called and pressed 1 to be removed, a recording said thank you and ***g. They just called back and when i said i requested that they remove my number from their contact list she said it will take several days. Then she asked if I'd like to lower my credit card interest. I said please don't call a***n and ***g up.
This is a scam they are fishing for your CC #!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
got the call to lower credit card interest rate. when asked who they were trying to reach, got the ****-up. called and reported to the credit comp. I am on do not call list. What's up with that?
Caller id identified number as 402-982-0538, Credit Help. The caller identified herself as Jasmine Kabl. I was told they could reduce my interest rate on my visa crdit card to 6 percent. I questioned how they could do this since they were not from the credit card company itself. They actuaaly had the first four numbers of my card and kept asking for the rest of my credit card number and expiration date. Very scary, the amount of information that is out there. When I asked for proof of being legitimate, she became rather snippy, with a very long complicated answer no one could follow. I finally just ***g up the phone.
My caller id identified the name as Liane Evans and number 402-982-0539. The automatic computerized voice said I needed to dial one to get the reduced interest rate and the deadline to do so was drawing near. as being a Visa and Mastercard representative that could get my interest down to 6% but I needed to first give them the expiration dates then they carried on and finally asked for the number itself.
Called my number at 11:22am. Since I do not answer this line, I checked the ma****e for a message. No message. I then called this long distance number and got a female recorded voice saying, "Thank you for calling back. If you are no longer interested in our 'special promotions', press 1 to be removed from the list". I pressed 1 and immediately the call disconnected. I called back and tried entering 0 and the call immediately disconnected. Obviously a phony "business"
I just got a call from this number telling me I could get a lower interst rate on my credit card. They asked for my credit card number and I clearly wasn't going to give them that...I gave them the credit card company and they then told me the first 6 numbers of my card thinking I didn't know that they ALL have those same numbers. I was goofing around online so I decided to keep on the phone as long as possible to see just how far they would go. The first guy tried everything....very persuasive but I still held my ground so he got his supervisor on the line and I went thru the same song and dance with her. Everytime they asked me for my card number I'd answer so****ing like - I don't know what you are talking about, or how can you get a better deal...why can't I just call the company or I'd just say - pardon me? and make them repeat themselves all over a***n. They were getting very upset and I was laughing so hard about it!! Finally the supervisor gets back on and says 'you can just go F yourself and your high f-ing interest rate' then ***g up on me after about 30 minutes!! I did ask where they were calling from and was told Orlando. Interesting accent for FL.
Been getting calls from this phone # for several weeks and the caller ID on the screen was LIANE EVANS; they never leave a message and I never picked up the phone; I'm on the Do Not Call list though but still, I keep getting calls from those ghostly companies: annoying; I'll report them.
Called and woke me up first thing. Caller ID says "Credit Help"
I pressed 2 to get off the calling list. A guy with a heavy accent answered. He asked if I was calling to get lower rates.. So I said yes (knowing he would **** up if I said any different) He asked what I had in debt. I said, let me ask you a questions without you ****ing up. He said "ok" I told him I pressed 2 to be taken off the call list and he interrupted telling me he really didn't care. WOW... I couldn't believe it. I told him where to go (sad I actually played into his pathetic game). Oh well. Actually felt good!
Got a call today (thanks for Caller ID) that I did not answer. Number is 402-982-0539 - said to be from Credit Help.Seems they are on a roll.
First time they called Caller ID said Debt Help. Today they called at about the same time and it says Unknown Name.
Liane Evans is the name that appeared on caller i.d. for this number. I did not bother to answer or call back.
the real name of "heather with account services" is ran david barnea of Boca Raton Florida. Do a search on this name and you can learn about the guy in Florida that the Florida attorney general can do NOTHING about. this is a real study in how the law is so worthless when it comes to protecting the average person's privacy.
No one speaks - I **** up!!
Offer lower credit but do not use credit cards any longer. So no debt. Also several times someone called me asking for another person.Told me they would take my number off their list but do not.Another call. How about everybody calling this place.
Call s****s by saying they are calling about your credit card debt and that there is no problem but that you are eligible for lower rate (6% is mentioned) with a limited time to respond. Press one to talk with a real person. We are on the no call list. If this is not a charity or a non-profit or political organization then why are they calling?
A robo-call, purportedly for Google marketing. I thought legislation had been passed outlawing robo-calls? And I'm on the do-not-call registry too!
no message
they called and said so****ing about new laws and debt. when i pressed one to get off the list i got a busy signal
