Leave a CommentDo not press 1 or anything else they indicate you should press, this enables them to get into your phone line and use it for their personal use. This company just called here at my work on my personal line and it came up at all 000's on my display but the name and rest of the information she gave was correct. Just **** up and do not press ANYTHING. It's a scam. I work for a phone company and we get this hear of this type of stuff happening..so do not press anything, just **** up. Also, report them if you have the number on your line or can provide any additional info.
I'm getting the same calls from this place Esta Sol in Ne***ska. Only now, 10/12/2010, the phone number is 402-982-0520. At least this place made that small concession to you and your home number. I just got another call today (AND yes****ay) so this time I called back. "Thank you for calling back. If you wish to be placed on the Do Not Call list, press 1". No company identification, no way to speak to a living soul. My guess is this is a marketing outfit. I don't know where in NE they are -- too many cities and towns in the 402 area code -- but I wish the***** they stop calling ME!
We have received calls from them also. One saying this is your Captain, do survey and get tickets to Nassau the other telling to hold for important info. We have pressed the 1 to be put on the donotcall list. See what happens.
This company or person is calling on an unlisted phone number....how did they get it and what do they want....
OK, here is some more information about this phone numberOwner Name: Sol EstaAddress: Omaha, NE Phone Number Type: Landline Phone Issuing Location: Citistream Communications, Inc. - N Omaha, NE 68102 I am planning to demand that Citistream provide me with the complete contact info for the owner of this phone number OR I will file a formal complaint a***nst Citistream with the FCC.You can all begin by filing your own complaints herehttp://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htmNOTE:1) calling cell phones is ALWAYS illegal without requirement for the cell phone to be on Do Not Call List2) using automaed (e.g. PRE-RECORDED) calling violates the law as well
I've never answered and tehy never leave a message, but continoulsly call out private/unlisted #.Getting very old. Get at least one call a week.
Keep calling me too. Except, there isn't a person on the other end of the line.. Just nothing, then they **** up on me.
Dude, if this is your phone number you need to call the phone company immediately and tell them somebody has hi-jacked it. Because this number is about to get reported to the donotcall.org people and I think it's a $10,000 fine.
They called and asked me to answer a few questions and in return i would receive a free cruise to the Ba*****, i said 'sure' to see what the questions were, and they were ****** questions about if i had a septic tank, and if i used city utilities.. they were harmless questions, so i answered them, and they said that they would send the info on the free cruise in 3 days..... we'll see...?
number keeps calling me and don't leave a message. I pressed 1 to be placed on there do not call list about to see if that works
I get calls from here all the time. They have never left a message.
I got the same:Female voice, rapid - "this is calling from Please hold on for an important survey/message"Sound: steamship horn noiseMale voice "Hello, this is your Captain speaking..."When i press '9', i get the "automatic removal line" which says I have been removed from the list. But, every few weeks I get a call. Very frustrating.
Thu, 11 Mar 2010 10:15 ESTFemale voice, rapid - "this is calling from Please hold on for an important survey/message" Sound: steamship horn noiseMale voice "Hello, this is your Captain speaking..."Some cruise scam. I ***g up
Got a voicemail on my work phone marked "urgent" from this number: "I have an important message for you. Please hold the line; I'm transferring you now." Obviously a scam if they're "transferring" me when they got my voicemail greeting.
Not "What" but "Who" TF is converting my phone to their personal use? (402) 982-0548 . Anybody got any clues as to their iden***y and want to join in suing these s***buckets? Anybody in Ne***ska got an active lawsuit and want to help the cause by subpoena'ing the phone company's records to get the iden***y (natural or juridical) of these guys?
I get the same thing & always press 1 and they still call several times a week. Very annoying.
Also received a call from this number. They made us answer to survey questions by asking us to press 1, 2 or 3 and in the end they said we will receive tickets for 2 to Nassau, Ba*****. Unfortunately, we did their survey and what we got in response was an operator that **** up on us. Kind of worried who these people are and what they are upto? Any advice for legal recourse is apreciated.
I am receiving repeated calls from this number. The caller id identifies it as Esta Sol and when I answered, they wanted me to hold for some kind of survey. I've ***g up and called back, receiving a message that if I don't care to receive any other calls from this number, I can press number one. I've already pressed one several times to stop the calls but nothing works. It is very annoying.
Spam caller. Left no message. Called them back and was some recording about special offers.
