This is obviously a scam, calls me continuously and threatening me

Caller wouldn't speak when I answered the phone.

Been calling my work line - tried using the "too remove your number" option - they ignore it.I've taken to just pressing one to talk to the operator and then seeing how much of their time I can waste by keeping them on the line, generally just acting clueless.  Seems to be working well.

Called several times no message.Im on DNC list. Seems to be working well

Called me on my work # today (at about 3:30PM CST).  Luckily I have Caller ID.  I didn't recognize the area code so I didn't answer.  They did not leave a voicemail.  Google'd the number and came here!

Unsolicited telemarketing call about "Obama's debt relief" and "credit card debt" from 402-982-0779. On my cell!  Violation of FTC. And, FTC has arrested so many other groups.  I guess this group doesn't read the papers.  Once they are in jail, they will have the time:)

I also receive NUMEROUS calls from this number, and when I try to use their opt out function, it does not work.

My phone had "Ne***ska'. I don't know anyone there so I did not answer. They called me on my cell phone in Boston MA. This is a private number! I am on all of the Do Not Call lists. Really ticks me off. I have to PAY minutes for all of these ****** calls!  I was driving and answered the phone without looking the other day (thought it was a friend calling me back). I told the guy I have zero debt-take me off your list. Obviously didn't work. Anyone know how to block these calls on a Verizon cell phone?

Ok, first it was that other 982 number now this 402? I also am on several registered do not call lists...what good are those? This is ridiculous.  I have contacted the newspaper to write aboutthis and **** these people out of the water.  I will also contact my state department and federal about this.  If everyone would s**** complaining to the right  people we could get thisto stop.   Write to your local news station or newspaper about these "mysterious" annoyingphone calls....just takes a few minutes....

These guys repeatedly use the auto-dial to call my *cell* phone. When I press "1" to connect to an operator (to find out who they are), they drop me into a voicemail. It's probably one of those scamming operation that hides behind the phone system to prey on the weak. Let's work with the FCC to put them out of business.

Why do I keep getting phone calls on my cell from this number.  Today I was in class and it called at 11:05am and 12:15PM.

My number is on the do not call registry. I am not in tax debt and the recorded message seemed to say I was. I have filed a complaint with the do not call registry and intend to encourage others to do as well.

A voice mail message kept calling me every day at all day. I tried getting them to stop but it wouldn't. Eventually a person called and it is in fact a debt consolidation company. I asked him to put me in his do not call list. Let's see if it works. Calls my cell phone at approx. the same time every day (10am pacific). I never answer, but the call wakes me every time since I work nights and sleep during the day. Sure hope they can be stopped!

These loan modification idiots keep calling my cell even though my number is registered with www.donotcall.gov and I cannot get a live person to speak with to tell them to stop calling me.  Arrrgggghhh!

Debt consolidation company...I have no debt and have never done business with any debt consolidation company. I pressed 1 to speak with a person. Recording said "all lines are busy. leave you number and we'll call you back". They called on my cell phone, which is protected TWICE from unsolicited calls: 1. In California, it is illegal to telemarket a cell phone. 2. Regardless, my cell phone is on the DNC list.

BS Scammers should get a real job or work on a chain gang . . .
