Automated airmiles scam offer
Need to get rid of this scam.....anybody knows how?
These guys keep calling me, and it is unsolicited.
does nt leave a message calls on a cell phone cost me air time and when you call back the number comes up not in service
The recording claimed I had won air miles .
Phone rang on my Bell cell phone, had never seen the number, answered it went through its s***l about airmiles, and then it ***g up.
Won 100,000 points. Told them I was 25 plus and give phony name. Got to next level. I waisted a fair amount of their time asking about security around the areas they are giving away. Such as if there is drugs in area, do I need to wear bullet proof vest etc. Finally ***g up on them.
It was the same as everyone else, the 100,000 Air Miles bit and the age of 25, etc.. But the interesting thing is that a couple of years ago my wife bought a package over the phone to Mexico for $500 that we never ever used, but was charged to our credit card. They keep calling back asking for her, and I think maybe that is where they got our number. BTW my wife NEVER buys anything over the phone anymore.
Phone number was 403-674-2323 claiming that I won 100K Air Miles. They asked me to confirm if I was over 25 years of age. I asked who was calling me and they repeated the question. I repeated mine - who is calling me and the person immediately ***g up
phishing scam - "You have won... bla bla bla" Then they ask for your credit card. So what did I win? The opportunity to be ripped off I guess.
100.000 free miles a scam ..getting calls at 2am
Called at 7:48 pm. Just one more of those calls from strange numbers I've been frequently getting in the past few months!! I didn't answer this one, but most of the time I answer I get no answer on the other end.
I am a Shaw customer. I received a phishing call from 403-674-2323 on my cell today. The person using this Shaw Telecom Inc. number is operating a scam. I did not solicit this call. The automated voice states that "You have won 100,000 free air miles" then requests credit card information......and so on...........Can you stop this number ? I contacted Shaw and think all of you should too. Let's waste their time and see if they like it.
Told me I had won 100,000 airmiles, led me to someone telling me I had to use them for a Cancun vacation. Tried to ask me personal questions.

Told to press 1 for my 100,000 free air miles. Pressed 1 before I thought about it then disconnected. Terrified that someone was hijacking my cell # I called Telus and reported it. Does anyone know what it is that they are getting away with.
I missed this call.....and no message was left on my cell. I thank others for leaving their comments that it is in fact a bad number.
I'd like to file a complaint a***nst this number
Got a call from them today on my celphone with the 100,000 AMs "win". Then someone live came on the phone and said she was Crystal from Cancun. W/o another word about the airmiles, she went on to tell me I was eligible (I believe that's the word she used) for a "Promotional Vacation". Been there, heard that one too many times. Besides I do some contesting and I used to practice law so, (I've even won a trip), just last year and I know that as soon as you have to pay anything to get your win in a contest, it's not a legal 'contest'. Whenever I get a call about 'winning' a trip that's the first question I ask, how much is it going to cost me? By the time she told me (it was $698US for a trip to Cancun AND one to Orlando) I knew right away it was a scam (as are probably most of these 'Promotional Vacation' things). ***ody called back....yet...lol. Doesn't matter, I'll know that number if I see it a***n, they'll be wasting their time dialing my number. She did give me a website though, however I haven't checked it out yet; it's apltly number www.cancuncalling.com.
