The female voice stated "Congratulations Air Miles customer, just press 1 to claim your 100,000 air miles". I ***g up since Air Miles does not have my cell number, nor do they phone people like that.

I didn't answer but they call non stop. I have my phone #'s on a government no call list, but I still get calls.

I have not idea who this is or why they are calling. Did not leave a message and when I called back the number is not in service!

Caller called at 2:30 am & when answered there was ***ody there.

This is a scam! They say you are a valuled Westjet customer, press 1 to get your gift. I did press 1 & got transferred to a resort in Cancun, Mexico. Leo was the name of the person I spoke to. He asked if I was over 25 (yes), Had a credit card (yes). This resort is selling time shares for the resort in Mexico & Disneyworld Florida. They will give a web address & a promo code for the site. This number originates from a landline in Olds, Alberta. Westjet has announced on local radio stations that this is a scam. There is NO affliation with Westjet at all. i asked some questions & Leo handed me over to a supervisor who stated that the Westjet Call Center in BC made the calls & tranferred callers to Mexico.

Called my home phone and cell number. Not many people have my cell number so I don't know how they got it. They did not leave a message but keep receiving repeated calls from this number.

I got a call today and went through to talk with the Agent offering me some kind of vacation package. It ended up being a company called Cancun Calling and after a while I decided it best to end the phone call. I don't feel comfortable dealing with companies like this and am registered on the DNCL, so I will be logging a formal complaint.

It was the Westjet offer for me. Ididn't press 1 toaccept their free gift. Theyc­alled me on my cellphone -- very discouraging because it's a number I rarely give out. I always answer it because of that. I called Westjet corporate and they said Corporate Security is investigating and asked people affected to callthe RCMP. I didn't press 1, so no one asked me for my Visa number, but if you got asked, I sugget you report it!

Getting too many missed calls from this number!! Stop them!!

got call at 2:27pm... you are a loyal westjet customer. to hear our promotion press 1.... waited for woman who told me i won a vacation from westjet just needed to give credit card number. i said please wait while i get my visa... then i said.. this call has been traced by police thanks for staying on the line long enough for it to work... and by the way i work for west jet and we don't do promotions like this... she ***g up

I just got the call on my cell phone which I never give out, and it's a PC phone, not Bell.  Said there was a voicemail, but no message, so you know it's one of those horrible boilerrooms with the delayed voice activated switch.  grrr.

This is not just a Bell/ cell phone thing.  Received this call today at my work landline, which is not a commonly given out number.  I'm pretty sure they're just targeting former customers based on previous information you've provided (for me, I had to fill in an alternate number to my cell the last time I flew as I was swit****g service providers at the time).

Recieved a call from this number. ***g up before even getting to the "Press 1" prompt the minute I heard the automated "...prefe­rred customer" line. Called the number back on my LAN line with the "number cannot be completed as dialed". ­ My number is unlisted and Im on a do not call list so where the heck are they getting this from. Last time I rode WestJet was before I even got this number.

This number called my cellphone at 12:48 Mountain Time today. It was an automated message saying that I was valuable WestJet customer and I have won so****ing from them. To collect my prize I had to press "1" - I ***g up and searched the net with the number on my call display to find this.

TheCalled offereing free gift from WestJet. This is a scam probably oringination from ***mpton, Ontario, Olds, Alberta, or Alabama. I just ***g up without hitting the 1 key as requested.

These guys just called me.  I'm on the Fido network, but I ***g up without even listening to the message.  Glad I did.

They say they are calling on behalf of Westjet....Number originates in Alberta but when asked said the location was Cancun.I can guarantee the connection is through your Bell cell phone.I get them weekly always from the US more often than here....

I just got the call too saying I was a preferred Westjet customer... I ***g up too. I've never had telemarketing calls on this cell number before but just switched to Bell. Hope they're not giving out my number to scam artists.
