Scam Air Miles this week

They say they are calling on behalf of Westjet but then want to sell you a vacation package.

collect call from this number. we where not home. call came from Sylvan Lake, Alberta on Sept 24/10 .operator was on our answering ma****e. call came in at 8:00 pm to St. Thomas, Ontario

it seems the famous singer bryan adams is looking to become governor in alberta thus the calls.

recieved a call @ 10pm from this number, I answered, no response.

(This number isn't valid; I called back and its not in service.) They want your name, credit card number and for you to press "1" which, as far as I know, gives them all your other information. The lady who answers says she's calling from Air Ca***a.

I dont know who this is but I do not give out my phone number to anyone I do not personally know, i don't care if it's a newspaper, credit card, trip vacation, whatever, they have no right to be calling my cellphone to solicit when I did not give them my phonenumber to do so! Whatever it is is a scam and i want them to stop calling!

autoatic dialer. this time saying "valued client of air ca***a" the same lousy voice has been on my cell and work phone referring to Telus and shaw (communications companies).

automatic dialer comes on line with "becuase you are a valued client of air ca***a, we want to send you a gift"... press 1 I'd rather take the bus than air ca***a

Called me on my cell phone. Spoke in a heavily accented voice with lots of background noise and immediately asked if I'm over 25 and have a credit card. When I said, "slow down, who are you and why are you calling?" They said "just trying to offer you so****ing beautiful" and ***g up on me!

Keeps calling to say Im a preferred customer to a service I never heard of

Asked for credit card details. They wouldn't use the fake number I gave them though.

This number called me at 17:49 or 5:49 pm. I am not familiar with the number, and never answer unknown numbers. These types of calls are becoming more and more frustrating. People cannot even have a phone in peace anymore. Businesses have found ways to invade our comfort with our phones. Do to the frustration, I will be GIVING UP PHONES. Who needs the headaches? My business needs can be met by email (Still have my privacy there).

Received a call from this number at 12:06 on 23 September 2010. I am registered with both the Ca***ian Do Not Call list and "I Opt Out". I do not pick up for numbers I don't recognize. I automatically boycott any business or charity uses this type of intrusive marketing, even if I have a prior business relationship. 403-864-8989, I do not have a prior business relationship with you. I do not care who you are or what you want. Stop calling me!

never answer long distance numbers on cell phone unless you know who it is

Got the same call everyone else did just now... I ***g up because I  knew AC wouldn't call and then ask you to press one....called AC to report and they are aware..it has been reported. It is not them. The advice they have given me is to report it to [email protected] and [email protected]. The calls are coming from multiple numbers so it is hard to trace.

I just got the exact same call. I pressed 1 just to hear what they had to say (since I have flown Air Ca***a, I'm sorry to say).The first thing I heard was a woman saying congratulations and could she confirm that I'm over 25. I said that I am. Then she said that to book the timeshare she needed to confirm that I had a valid MasterCard, VISA, or American Express. When I said "but I don't even know what this is about", she ***g up on me.

Received a call from 403-864-8989 to my cell phone today prompting me to press 1.  Sounded like a scam so I ***g up.

They just called me a couple of minutes ago. I missed the call.  I love choked's idea.  Must give it a try.

That number just called me and i'm in Hamilton.. ******. I picked it up once and heard that message but now I ignored it.

I just received the same call on my cell phone.  This should not be allowed.  If I received long distance charges I will be ****ed

These jokers have called me a few times.  I play around with them giving them false information and they get mad at the end when I tell them I just wasted some of their time.  I'll speak broken engwrish and pretend I'm all for what they're needing from me.  PERSONAL INFORMATION>

I just got the exact same message.  I have never flown with Air Ca***a in my life.

Answered this call on my cell phone to hear an automated voice saying "Hello, as a preferred customer of Air Ca***a, you have received a special gift.  Press 1 to accept". I ***g up.  Not only am I NOT an frequent Air Ca***a customer, I doubt they would provide any gift, especially in this manner.
