who are thse people collecting for?

this # has s****ing calling the phone in the empty cube across from me at work, my job to take those phone msgs... very annoying, supervisor called the # today finally to try and explain they are calling a company with no knowledge of w***ver they are calling... weird, since you have to dial an extension to get to the phone, and it is total simulated voice on the messages.  leave an 800 number with a "Mr. Green" name, otherwise no other specific info.

We received a call from 4045230311. A very obnoxious woman was screaming on the phone about a credit card bill. She said she was from B of A. When my husband tried to get her name, she rudely ***g up.

I got a call from this number on my work phone. They asked for two different people that do not work in my office. The person was extremley rude and would not give out any info on the company. I called back and filed a complaint and infomed them they need to remove this my number.

I've receieved a call from 4045230411 over the past week, the individual was leaving a message for me to call their office, but not leaving any details about what it was. So I did a little research and found this site. Then yes****ay I received a letter from this company claiming that I owed them money on an account that I had several years, however I immediately remembered that I had paid this account off over 4 months ago with Tate & Kirlin. So today, I called the number, and I found out that this company doesnt seem to like to talk to you when you tell them that they are trying to collect a debt that was paid off. When they picked up I was immediately greeted in a s***bish tone, and as I proceeded to tell the woman that they were in error, I was immediately placed on hold... every 30-45 seconds being greeted a***n and asked to hold for over 10 minutes, seemed no one wanted to talk to me since I didnt owe them money. After the game of hold-tag, I was then greeted by "andrew" who asked how he could help me, I told him about the hold-tag game then proceeded to tell him about the account, he then asked about a letter of zero balance, which I told him I had one on the way. Suddenly his tone c****ed with me and I was told "I dont know why your getting called, your account is closed". Shocking and surprising how quickly my account was closed and I should have never been getting phone calls about the account, one they should have never had. Sounds like a shady operation to me, one that preys on the uninformed. If you get a call from them, make sure you find out what account they are claiming you owe them and see if you have paided them off previously, else you might be paying more for an account you have settled a long time ago.

It's a F***ING collection agency.

Received a call from this number today 3/17.  Miss Latimore requested a return call to 866-235-9588 ext. 1545.  No idea what this might be in reference to.  Showed up as First Financial on my caller ID.
