Leave a CommentHow do we nab this****hole he called my mom that is retired and said I had a payday loan for 2000.00 settle for 1500.00 if not I go to court next month on the 22nd. S*** bag.
Same guy with the same story. Said I had a payday loan from 7 years ago and I asked for written proof of debt and he stated that it would take too long to send it and that I would have to be taken to court. I informed him that I am a member of law enforcement and that wasn't legal. He then stated that it was an 800 dollar loan and with fees it was now 2800. I told him where he could stick it and I'd love to see him in a court of law. I also asked which state this was supposedly transacted in and he said he didnt know. Oh really? what a bunch of ****! DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR FINANCIAL INFO! Legally they have to provide written proof of the debt. Also most states have a statute of limitations of 6 years or less. Just another vulture
Rec'd a call from a Steven Price, said we cashed a payday check from an online company and that if i requested information for proof that was a sign of lying, i simply asked for proof with our signatures, he said you can dispute and get all this information in court, you will get a summons. Somehow the jacka** got my parents # and left a message there too.
It's a scam. Steve Price said I had a lawsuit next month for a payday loan back in 2010 that I never took out and wanted to know if I wanted to pay him now. He said the loan was for $800, but that I owed $2,000.
