Yeah I got the same call but I didnt answer because I dont answer calls I dont know.but they left a voice mail asking for somebody with a different name someone I didnt know! They better quit or ill have to call the police!

No, she called me too. While I do owe the debt, it is a debt between my soon to be ex husband and I. I have been advised by my lawyer to tell any and all collection agencies to discontinue phone calls and contact me in writing. I have already told a gentleman from this same company regarding the same debt to stop calling and only mail, and then she called me today. She said she doesn't have to stop calling if I did not send the request in writing. In the state of Florida, where I live, all they need is a verbal request. So ya, don't bother with them.

a lady named petra just called me saying i owed a previous landlord money and i need to pay it now or be reported to collection agency.  i don't owe this money and am prepared to fight this, but i must wonder if this is a scam.

Someone just called me from hat number looking for my brother and the only thing she could tell me is that her name was petra.
