Like an idiot I gave my info over the phone today, now I can not sleep. They have my address, should I be worried? I have young kids.

Received a call from 2 numbers: 1-855-858-5544 and 404-891-5*** both****ociated with Claim****istance Group trying to get information about my boyfriend and his disability in order to get SSI information. I thought it was legitimate at the time because I had applied through the hospital for various federal****istance programs. Now I am so........worried!

Called my cell, which I don't give out to business only family and friends. ? How they got the no. Since on the fed. do not call list.

call the number back and follow directions to be taken off their phone list ... does this work . don't know yet

Hi, be careful. I received a call from them - they call themselves Claim****istance. Now, think about it. They asked me "Hello Mr. ....myname.. (they knew my name!) ...did you make a claim using your Social Security number? I repliied: I do NOT give out any information over the phone, write me an official letter and I might act on that (or not) / Now, look, if anyone knows your name AND your social security number, it would be easy to use that information for a lot of different purposes. Example: Get credit somewhere, use it to claim benefits.. and so on. My advice is: NEVER give any information over the phone to ANYONE. Keep safe. Stay cool, good luck, Groggo

I received a call from this number and since I was waiting for a call, so I thought it was my call and I missed it. I called the number back and was put on hold for 10 minutes. When someone answered the my call they "said your dead" and ***g up. So I looked in to it online.

These people have call me on my sellphon number and disturb me.My sellphon number is registered by The National Do Not Call.I want they to stop calling me anymore.

Same as iphone user said below, call the # back and hit option one and enter your phone number to be placed on their do not call register. It stated it will be take 24-72 hrs.

Got a call from this # but couldnt get to my phone in time, called them right back, this is how I learned the company name "Claims****istance Group" got this call at 8:26pm cst, long after the company "buisness hours as stated on thier recording" not to mention that this is listed as a "mobile" number, not a landline,, how many companies call you from a call phone? and my phone is suppost to be on the Federal "No Call List"

Spammer: Telemarketing for SSI Claims & other random **** you never asked or signed up for; Also, important to note these ppl are NOT honoring the FCC "Do Not Call Registry," so I've contacted the FCC & registered a formal complaint based on this ignoring the No-Call Registry, using approx 17 friends who have all been contacted by this org, AND are registered on Do Not Call Registry of the FCC, AND also in addition to all the above conditions of these friends, they all requested the caller to "Remove me immediately from your list or I'll report you to the FCC.... Once I, today, as the eighteenth "victim" reporting them to the FCC, I was given an FCC "Violator Report Case Number," and****ured they will be pursuing charges (i.e., in the FCC Agents own words, "We will both lodge a formal complaint with thus company, meaning they will be paying fines up to $5,000.00 (minimum $2,500.00) for each violation, which as of now includes 31 total formal complaints of violations: -Yeah, uh-huh, up to $155,000.00 in total fines, but not less than $77,500.00 in fines. Call back in a week or two & we`ll let you know the total fines they`ve been made to pay if you like," So yes, while beauroc**** usually ****s, in this one case, its gonna serve us all very nicely... :-) Apologies for the length of my post here, but I thought you'd all both enjoy and appreciate the info on a spammer finally getting their just deserts.. :-) TTFN, and enjoy!

This is the number for the Claims****istance Group, a private company that provides services helping people file social security claims. They called me because someone in my household contacted them; however, they may be guilty of cold calling - I do not know. They are a legitimate company that connects people seeking SS benefits with legal advocates.

I got a call 1/25/2012 and someone asked did I used my SSN for disability claim. I answered NO and they ****ed up. Why they need to do this?

it's telemarketing if you call back the #, hit option 1, put in the # they called u @ & ur # will be put on their do not call list.

I get a call from time to time from this number, I never pick up but one time I sent a text MSG saying "who is this" and it failed bc it's a landline number... Oh well time to put these *****es on the spam filter ;)

They keep calling and they normally say nothing. I think they're foreigners because the only time one has ever spoken to me, it was someone sounding from another country. I'm not quite sure what they want, but they're VERY annoying and call EVERY DAY. The caller ID says "Claim****ist GRP," but I haven't entered any contests, so it's likely just some idiots trying to rip people off.
