Leave a CommentI got a call from agent counsel and they lm saying there was an investigation going on regarding my ssn# and it was crucial that I call back immediately to clear up the serious matter. I called the number they left and had to leave a message. Then I went on line and found out its a bill collector and how they got this number I don't know because it's a new number and unless Verizon is selling our phone numbers there's no other way To get it because they called a second phone lone I have both cells and left same message after I had already called them back from returning their first call on my other number. I think Verizon is selling phone information and because of this they may lose my business. Apparently there is no such thing as privacy because u can pay for unlisted numbers on the net and get whatever u need. Verizon says they don't publish the numbers but how else would they get them?
Use to receive these calls about 6-months ago. I think they work in cycles. Let them know I contacted the local police and reported them and the caller got really nasty and said I would never do that because I am scared of them, then after our conversation of letting him know he does not have any legal actions a***nst me, I never heard from them a***n. So, about 2 days ago, I am getting the call a***n. Same tactic of letting them know I am filing a court case a***nst them in my local court and Agent Counsel said, I can't do that and I also let him know he cannot file a***nst me in his local court either. He got mad and that ended the conversation.
I got the same call and after reading this messages i called my local police dpt to report it but also I looked up "greensberg stein a**" online and i came accross the real law firm which is located in NYC and they told me " DONT FALL FOR THAT IT IS A SCAM AND WE ARE WORKING ON FINDING OUT WHO IT IS" so plz dont give them any information nor confirm anything because what's scarry about it is that they seem to have all of our info as in my case they had my ss # my siblings name and my husband phone number! Sadly a lot of people fall for it and there is nothing one can do but to call the police and hope they find them.
I got the same call from this Agent Council and he told me the same thing! He said that I would be charged with a Class C felony and I could be picked up on this matter one the warrant has been issued. I began to ask for more information relating to this "so-called" debt and it sounded like he was rustling papers and then this Mrs. Joan Donaldson came on the phone and s****ed talking all fast and quick and was like they can offer me a settlement and if I couldn't do the settlement, then she would make small payment arrangements until I can pay it off in full. She then put me on hold ( which sounded like she just put the phone on mute) and then someone picked up the phone and then placed the phone down and this lady came on the line by the name of Mrs Davis, ( which sounded just like Mrs Donaldson, only she spoke a little more less frantic) asked me for my payment information, including expiration date and CVV#I've contacted my local police department as well to see what I can do to protect myself from such fraud claims.
Person by the name Agent Counsil called stating that I was under investigation for check fraud for a payday loan back in 2006. I asked for do***ention to be mailed to me, got put on hold then a lady came on the phone and stated they would not send any do***entation to me until after I set up payment arrangements.
