Caller's ring c****ed from regular ringing sound to what sounded like garbled voice(s) w/ electronic noise in the background, even tho' I did not p/u the rcvr. Caller ***g up after a few seconds. Nonetheless, my phone sounded like the caller had somehow overridden my preference to not ans. the call (by leaving the rcvr on the hook).
