This is *** Cable at Central Office: Britton, Oklahoma  - *** Cable Oklahoma City, Inc. .http://www.mycallbot.com/numbers/4054634757 I called  *** Cable, to get Basic Cable service, last year, when the TV stations all switch to Digital TV,  and *** Cable said there was an outstanding debt of $150.00 that needed to be paid up-front, before I could have service, and because of that, I would also need to pay up-front, for any services I ordered that day.  I have not had Cable in my name, in over 20 years, so I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and requested copies of the original contract, and phone call tape, to verify whose bill this really was.   First,  *** Cable tried to play *********, and they wanted copies of my DL, SocSec Card, and ect, and I told them they have no right to ask me for that information.   All I wanted was to prove this bill was not mine, and in order to do that, I needed copies of who signed their contract, and copies of the recorded phone call.  .  Their second response, they back down, and said they could NOT provide me with ANY of this information, showing who ordered this service, in the first place.    I told them just because someone else use to live at the same address, as I do, does not make me responsible for their bills!  Plus this bill was over seven years old, which is past the Statue of Limitations.  So *** Cable finally said they would grant me clearance, and drop the charges in my name, that they had purposefully put in my name, just because I live here too.  ARG!    I was fuming mad, they did me that way,  so I never called back, to get Basic Cable service.     Putting a bill in someone name,  who did NOT sign-up for those services, nor requested them by phone, just because they live at the same address of the person who did order them services, should be a Felony!   I kept the print-out from the BBB Report, where *** Cable stated they could NOT provide me proof of who order those services, or who signed their contract, over seven years ago, and that they would free my name.  Now, one year later, they are calling my home, not leaving messages, so I block their calls.  *** Cable was not honest, so will NOT do business with them!
