At 12:53pm today, June 23, 2021 I received a phone call that was allegedly my Grandson. It sounded very much like him, and he told me he was in Jail in Montgomery, Alabama for reckless driving and causing an accident. He asked me to contact his Public Defender about getting bail for him. I took the name ‘Michael Burg’ and a case number 01A7685. I called Michael at (405) 648-4669. The number came up as located in Oklahoma which raised my su****ion. Michael told me that in order for my Grandson to be released pending a hearing in a week before a judge; I needed to post a bail of $7,000 for his release. The bail company was to be Surety Bonds. I did a search for attorneys in Montgomery, Alabama and there was no ‘Michael Burg’. I called him back and s****ed asking questions that he refused to answer and told me he would only talk to another attorney. I tried my Grandson’s phone number and didn’t get an answer. I then did a search on the Montgomery County Jail/Warrant Web Search and my Grandson’s name didn’t come up. I made another phone call to my Grandson and he answered. He was at home. The people using this phone number (405) 648-4669 are involved in a Phone Scam.
