Telemarketer robocall. The calls to me began on January 8, 2021. Caller ID: Fire Volunteers. The caller ID is always the same, but the calls each time have been from different phone numbers from (supposedly) different states: 401-715-1133 (East greenwich, Rhode Island), 518-546-0709 (Port Henry, NY), 620-770-8367 (Pratt, KS) and now this likely s****ed number (405-938-0078) from Edmond, OK. (Note: while writing this, I received another call from 'Fire Volunteers', phone number 803-820-4419.) Normally the caller ****s up after 3 rings and leaves no message. And when I search the phone number online, nothing comes up. But this time, when I searched 405-938-0078, I actually found so****ing. NoMoRobo says that robocaller 'Shaun' left the following message- "Hello this is Shawn, how are you doing today? *****o? The reason for the call is the National Committee for Volunteer Firefighters Pac is providing donation return envelopes to all supporters and the goal of the drive is to help elect lawmakers who support our nation's volunteer firefighters. So when you receive your donation return envelope can we count on you to return a small donation for the drive by... you there? Ok. Goodbye." NoMoRobo lists the call as 'Charity', but another site thinks the referenced PAC is su****ious.
