Text Message Scam ALERT By: Wendy Nielsen | 3 days ago Last night, around 5:30, I received a text message from 309-868-2083 (not a number I recognize), the message simply read: “THE CREDIT UNION CENTER ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 406-233-1312.” I figured it was a scam, but I called the number to see what it would be – it was a robo-voice advising me that I had reached the card activation center, requesting I input my 16 digit credit card number. When I called it a***n this morning – the subscribers mailbox was full and it requested I try my call a***n later. I hope no one falls for it!
