DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE.   I THINK THAT IT IS THE "YOU HAVE WON A LINCOLN CAR...." SCAM.

this same number has called the house where i live almost everyday for the past few weeks. has the same number and says credit services, but the past 3 or 4 times they left a message saying so****ing about credit fraud and the name robert. i cant remember the full message. should i be concerned?

Thanks for this information.  I included it in my complaint to www.donotcall.gov.  As annoying as it is I always lodge a complaint on this site when receiving these calls.  If there are enough complaints perhaps the calls might stop.  We can only hope.

We've received several calls from this number. I've always ignored it, because it said "Credit Services." (Ours is just fine, thanks.) This time I was curious and stayed on long enough to hear the spiel. First there was an unbearably perky voice mail message by someone named Heather (?) who advised that I was eligible for a CC rate reduction to 6.9%. Uh-huh. So I hit 1 and spoke to a heavily-accented man who said his name was Alex. Uh-huh. (I'm used to accents, and if I can't understand one, it's pretty strong.) He said I was eligible for a rate reduction "on my credit card," and I asked which one. He paused and answered, "On your Visa or Mastercard." I said that I had several of each, and which bank were we talking about. He s****ed sounding exasperated and said, "Ma'am, ALL your cards are eligible." At which point I told him that it sounded like a scam and ***g up.If they call back, I'll call their number and go for the option to be removed from their call list. sheesh...

9/23/10  Call from "Credit Services".  Silence on the other end; no message.  Probably a scam of some kind.

Called me for the first time. Showed up as Credit Services. Did not answer but did answer to **** it up before the answering ma****e picked up. I too am also on the DNC. Why have a DNC if it doesn't stop these phone calls? Waste of my time for even signing up apparently!

they call often.  says credit services.i DONT need any credit service of any kind.  waste of time.im on DNC regsitry....why are they still calling.

Why should I have to call them back to be taken off a list when I have registered with DNC? I submit that the Do Not Call List is a totally worthless sop that is in place only to make US the poor beleaguered consumers, feel better. Yet another example of the "cure" being worse than the disease. I ask you Robert, did the act of requesting removal work?

Phone call from the number above. Caller ID said "Credit Services". No response when I picked up. This number has been reported to the DNC several times but they do nothing whatsoever. The DNC list is a joke if the agency takes no action. The phone company sure as***** doesn't care as long as the scammers pay their phone bill. So much for any kind of social responsibility by the callers and the agencies we are PAYING with our tax dollars to support.

Call came from Hardin, Montana to Kansas at 11:12 hours CDT on 9-9-10. Call not answered and no message left. Caller ID said Credit Services. Other sites advise that this is the old "Get you a better credit card  rate" scam.
