I answered. A recorded said there was no problem with my credit card, but they said to press 1 to lower my interest rate and speak to a live operator. I pressed 1, and when the operator came on, I said I'm not interested, I just want them to stop calling me. She nastily said 'well, stop answering your phone. That works just as well".

I have received calls from number but I don't answer them and they don't leave a message. If they can't show their name then it must be spam and I'm not wasting my time.

Received a call at 10:00am PST, Thursday April 25, 2013. Answered but there was not response in the first 5 seconds. ***g up and have not received a call since.

Missed call. No message left. Not an area code that looked legit for the calls I receive. Probably spam.

Called my work # saying that they wanted to lower my interest rate. I pressed 1 to inform them that they had called a business. The woman stated that she represented visa, Mastercard & Discover (I believe) then sighed and ***g up on me once I said they had called a business line.

Received call and ***ody spoke, a recording was beginning and ***g up!

Recorded message offered to lower interest rate. Asked to press 1 to speak to someone. I ***g up

I seem to be getting a lot more "spam" calls lately. What's up with that?

This is Stellar Collections. They operate several numbers including 888 613-0234. They are scamming for old non-collectable debts.

Called twice in a row. I hit Decline and it went to voicemail - there was a 1 min long "message" of dead air.

I received a call today. I didn't recognize the number so I did not answer. No voicemail so must not have been an important call.

Seems to be a lot of activity coming from this number today. Callers that call and **** up, or have you press "1", or that never say a word, are all doing one thing: VALIDATING YOUR PHONE NUMBER AS ACTIVE. There are 'companies' that sell nothing, but only exist to do this one thing. Never answer a call if you do not recognize a number, period.

Had to answer as I have been getting job related calls from out of state. It was an automated message offering to lower my credit card rate. Did NOT state what credit card. Offered to transfer to a rep and I ***g up.
