Leave a CommentSame scenario, a 'James Wright' called my friend asking her to get hold of me and have me call him.I called and an indian said he would transfer me to James wright, I got transfered but I am sure he transfered me to himself. Same story , I am wanted for fraud and it would cost me $3500 or I would feel the full force of the US courts. He also had all my info spot on. Also my friend thinks I have got her involved in so****ing illegal and she a bit mad at me and all because of this scammer. The number also belongs to a doctors office as I called it a few months later, they had that number for years, I explained what happened and they had no clue.I want this guy stopped and found and I will continue to find and ***t him down
we received the same kind of phone call today, calling police tonight
Same thing happened to me. How can this be stopped
I received a call from a friend telling me some officer named Dadik Brown needed to talk to me concerning so****ing about bank and internet fraud. Once I got the number I called them and asked for Dadik Brown. The person that answered the phone claimed to be Dadik Brown. when he asked whom I wanted to speak with, I told him "You!" He said, and I quote, "I will transfer you to Dadik Brown". Odd. I though Dadik Brown answered the phone and what is up with the 'oh hold' music? Sounded like an ice cream truck type of music.Another guy answered the phone and gave him name as officer Kagin Peterson of the Florida Law so****ing so****ing office. I say so****ing so****ing because his and Dadik had thick India accented and I could hardly understand them. He went on to claim how I was in trouble. So****ing about bank and interent fraud. He then proceeded to cite my address, work company and Social Security Number. He asked if these are correct and I told he I would not confirm anything until he told me in detail about why he was calling my friends looking for me. At that point he went balistic. He yelled, "I do not have time to deal with your rudeness. You now have a warrant in Florida and we will be seeing you soon to answer these charges." Then ***g up.The scam was a great scam. However, what concerns me is the information he had about me was spot on. My work, my SSN and my address. I am sure once this ***nch has been exposed, they will sell this information to another scammer and who knows where that might lead.First clue, if any "officer" calls you about some legal case, they will not call you on a holiday like Memorial Day. They will not all have Indian accents like the 7-11 clerks on every corner. They will have a lot of noise in the background like, hmmm, let me see, oh yeah, like call centers trying to sell to the millions. One of the funniest things was the on hold music. I didn't know if I should ask the guy for an ice cream sandwhich or a drumstick! But the funniest is the most logic that anyone that has ever watched and reality cop show knows, Law Enforcement NEVER calls anyone they intend to arrest on charges as serious as Bank, Wire and Internet fraud. They simply gather their case, and once it is solid arrest you.I intened on contacting Kissimmee Police about this number (varified form a reverse phone search) and letting them know what is going on as well as contacting the communications company the number is list through. Hopefully they will be shutdown before the actually get any anyone with this BS scam!
Just got a call from this number and it was left on my voicemail. I called the number back and got a Frank Miller. He asked me my name and I told him it was Lucifer and asked where I lived and I told him*****. I told him that I was recording the call and he kept asking me where I was from. He got so ****ed off that he ***g up. In the background I could hear other people yelling and giving out another phone number and it was a 904 number which I got a call fromabout two weeks ago and call the state attorneys general office and they told me not to give any info.
