They are a spam call. Thank you all who left a heads up on this site.
Cruise spam. 1 Call. "Congratulations, you have won a free cruise for 2. Yes, a free cruise. All you have to do is take our short survey and you will recieve your free cruise." Press 1 to take the survey. Press 9 to decline the survey and have your number removed from our list" I pressed 9.
I would **** these people in a heartbeat.
It looked like a phone number of ***ody I know. I thought I would check google first to see if it was spam. Eight other people on this site say it is spam.
Block the number, pretty simple. It's a scam and a waste of time.
Called on 6/23/14; stating I won a free cruise but they needed my SSN to verify my age as well as my license # to verify that I was in fact a resident of my state and he also asked for a band card or credit card # to "hold my spot"..I told him I would be more than glad to give him all that info but I needed to put him on hold to ask my husband first (who is a "cop") when he would like to go on our "free cruise". As soon as I said that the scammer on the other line ***g up.
