The individual who called was trying to buy a lawnmower via Facebook For $1500 and claim to have sent money to a Venmo account, but then claimed that since they were a large business account that the and user had to upgrade their account by accepting another $500 but then sending $2000 back. The emails received were made to look like a Venmo email but came from an incorrect address. In the end they were asking for 2000 to be deposited to a Venmo agent that did not exist, but was really a fake Venmo account.
