Android user wants you to think its not spam. I don't even have an eBay account or PayPal and they called me a few times. I'd say that android user would be the one trying to steel your PayPal password.

I joined Mobile Money Code LEFT the program and what one person told is the GOV. shut them down and SOLD MY PERSONAL INFORMATION to all these companies that people buy leads. I GET NON STOP CALLS. Yes****ay alone I had about 7 in 30 minutes. STOP THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!

Received 4 calls in a row just now. Have received numerous calls from this number - all unsolicited. This number is legit when you call ebay and expect them to call you but it is being spammed when you get repeated calls at all ours and you haven't contacted ebay for support. I don't answer and they go away for a while. If ebay or paypal wants me, they can email me and I'll log onto their site WITHOUT clicking a link so that I know it's legit!!

Didn't recognise at first but as mentioned it's eBay calling with an automated code to confirm c****es made to your account. Nothing sinister, unless of course you didn't c****e your details.

It's ebay! It's a automated verification thing, if anyone tries to make c****es to your account etc - it sends you a pin code to enter when you log into ebay. Nothing dodgy unless you didn't ask for anything to be c****ed.

It was difficult to understand the first part, but it was an automated message. It gave me a pin number and then asked me to go online and type the pin in.

This number is from Ebay, to verify your account. It is an automated message giving you a PIN number so you can verify your account online. Typically, you selected to get this call from Ebay. If you did not, then someone might have entered your number by accident on the website.

said they were from ebay; unsure why they would have called. I suspect it is not legitimate

caller called at 5:31 pm with "is this your right pin number" press # number if it is. returned call and voice says ebay inc and goes thru the extensions.

Some one called me from this number 2:49 AM while I was in deep sleep.

This is ebay. Before u can post a listing they call u with an automated call giving a pin number you have to enter on ebay before u can list an item to sell.

We are retired and were awakened this morning by a call at 6:30 a.m. and then another one about 25 min. later.  The message was, "If you are expecting a call from eBay, press 2".  We ***g up. We are now concerned that someone has stolen our iden***y.  Besides that we will need a nap in a few hours as our day s****ed very early!

Received a call from this number via skype, which was forwarded to my cell phone at the time- which showed BLOCKED. Number showed up on skype though. It is e-bay verifying your iden***y and giving a code to sell stuff on the site.

This number called 3 times on a Sunday night 8, 830  and 10pm.  i will not answers those calls
