Called the number they provided, which sent me to a company in Florida called "Customer Survey Rewards." They informed me that yes, they had received my number from another company, but that once they put in my number I had not, in fact, signed up to receive any such texts or calls. The company that texted me, they said, was probably "Protection Junction"- ironically a Legal club and ID theft protection company, that was sending out spam texts.
