Leave a CommentThis is an information phishing type scam which works via text messaging. You get a notification that Resource One Credit Union has deactivated your debit card. It asks you call this number to reactivate the debit card. If you call you get an automated system that wants personal info such as SS#, birth date etc. The text message may or may not include a partial number for the supposedly deactivated account. If you get this message, call or visit the ins***ution with whom you have your debit card to verify your accounts. Please note that Resource One is a legitamate financial ins***utionand and they have a notice on their website that they do not do business in this manner.
*** my debit card got deactivated, FOR THE 10TH TIME THIS MONTH!!!!!! Why can't the cell companies allow me to block these calls????????????????????????
