Got the same sms message asking if I needed a holiday loan , i replied with F*** off
I have received 2 unsolicited text messages from this number. ON Nov 11, 2010 I received a message about a $900 payday loan. Today (Nov. 22, 2010) I received a message about buying a home security system. I have tried replying with STOP twice and also QUIT. I am trying to find out how to file a complaint. This is a SCAM for sure.
Yep, I just got the text message, too. And my service still charges me for text. This was unsolicited and cost me money. Is this legal? If it cost me money then they should have to pay since I ONLY use this phone for family and volunteer work and they would not have given my number. So how did these marketing s*** get my info? And how do we go about making them pay for/reimburse the cost of their unwelcome text?I am on disability so for those of you who want to jump on my case for "whining" about cost... believe me... especially in this economy... EVERY penny counts.I tried calling it back via Google-voice but it just came back after a few rings with a prerecorded message stating that this number has a mailbox but that it had not been set up yet. Real professional. Can you say SCAM?
I received an unsolicited text from this number. It read: "Do you need extra cash today? You qualify for a payday loan up to $900, Receive loan within 1 hour. Reply "PayDay" for more information. Fast, easy, convenient"
