This number ( 408-940-3894), has called my home multiple times in the past three months, claiming that he is collecting donations for California's fallen or disabled Police or Fire Fighters. It is always the same man who calls. Do not give out any personal information to him!!! He is claiming that he wants to mail out a kit of some sort in exc****e for donations. He has a very authoritary voice with a slight Texas like accent. According to the TV News Stations: The police Depts. and Fire Depts. NEVER solicit For donations of any kind via the phone or internet and a***n it is always the same man that calls every time. He even called right after a Police Officer of Escondido, California was ******ed by her Husband. Please Beware!!! He is NOT a recording, if you interrupt him enough times by saying*****o, he will respond!

No message. Scam

This number called at 9:25AM... Caller-ID "Sunnyvale CA" (San Francisco area)... I answered. I said*****o. Long pause of about 5 seconds and then a male voice says, "Hello?" I said*****o a***n. Then a recording s****ed. The male voice with southern-t**** recording claims to be from FRATERNAL ORDER of POLICE (FOP) and the recording goes on to say that they're seeking money (go figure), allegedly for Officers who've suffered "catastrophic injury" on the job and so on, and so forth. I ***g up after about another 15 seconds and didn't finish the call so I don't know if they're selling so****ing or just begging for money. The call/recording sounded bogus and I highly doubt this has anything to do with the FOP. While the FOP east of the Mississip on the east coast is a formidable Union organization for Police, the FOP in the west, and especially in California, is a very small "alternative" organization for Police Officers -- if they want to join. West coast Police Officers have their own individual Unions and****ociations so the FOP holds no sway anywhere around here in California at all.
