Texted "Hi there. Is this (my name's) number?

They texted saying "Hi there, Are you" and then had my name. I didn't answer the question but instead asked who THEY were. They haven't responded.

They also sent me a text asking if it was still my number.

They are waiting for people to respond so they can sell your numbers to spam calling companies and other scammers.

This number text & says your name & location & asks if you are there….. Very Creepy! When you try to text back or call, goes to voicemail or will not text back.
