A rental in Waltham MA wanted to run a credit/backgorund check and charge 29.95 before showing property

He had a property for rent on Facebook in Portland, OR but in talking with me he said it was on Craigslist. Wouldn't show me the property until I paid for a credit check. So****ing screams SCAM to me so I came to google and here we are.

There is a rental property on Craigslist that I was interested in. The man asked for my information and for me to pay $5 for a credit check report. So****ing told me not to do it. I began to search this number up on cashapp, Facebook and nothing popped up. Once I entered the number on google it brung me here!! Once I seen “Scam” I knew I was right from the jump about this person.
