Is there a way to shut them up? They called yes****ay and a***n today about a Medical Alert system. **** up on them. SCAM!!
Telephone spammer sounding like a real person stating pre-paid (including shipping) medical alert system was to be delivered. Then asks you to press ****ons for the automated system. Also claims that someone at home or friend or family may have had fall. Such medical information would be covered under HIPAA... how would they get that knowledge? Obamacare?
Recorded message pretending to be a live person, arranging delivery of a medical alert system never ordered. Clearly just phishing for my info.
Caller says his name is John, from the shipping department of Emergency Medical Alert. He states I have been approved and it has been paid for in full. Want to schedule delivery. It's a "fall and can't get up type of system", his words not mine. I would have no need for a system, and this is just phishing or scamming. Gruff voice male. Calls repeatedly.
Calls around 4PM. I don't answer. When I try to call back I get the message that the number is not in service.
The most annoying scam artist. Calls several times a week. Cannot speak with the person, he just keeps on talking. Probably a recoreded message that sounds like he is speaking in real time. Placing number on do not call registry does not work either. Does anyone know how to make these calls stop!!!!!?
I did listen to entire message and pressed one to have it shipped. Really loud music was played while I was on hold. Finally a man came on and just like the other comments told me that I would receive medical equipment free of charge. I played along and then was told that I was getting a better deal than previous customers. It would only cost me $34.49 per month ... Well, I soon interrupted and said thanks for staying on the line long enough for the call to be traced.
Recording says he's from the shipping dept. and needs to verify address for a pre-paid no cost medical alert system similar to ones seen on TV (help I've fallen......you know the rest....). Press 1 to get it shipped. Return phone calls cannot be completed as dialed.....AT&T protects their privacy but not mine.
cnbc.com has article today on this scam. It is happening all across USA and targeting seniors
Got a call on 6/21 and 6/26. Ignored it and they didn't leave a message.
Not a working number? Well then how in the***** did they call me from that number???!!!
He said his name was John and he was from Medical Alert calling me about scheduling a delivery. We do not or ever had anything ordered from them. I ***g up on him
SCAM !!!! John from "medical alert's" shipping dept. wants to "schedule a delivery". Never ordered anything. This would be a good way to see if anyone is home, and if there is prescription medicine there. Be careful.
*******s calling a***n.
It is a recording so you cannot speak to a person. They call twice a week claiming it is prepaid and just need shipping info.
This Guy John is a Con Man, and a pain in the A__!!!!!
Scam: The guy left a message today about receiving a free medical alert system. He actually used the words "I've fallen and I can't get up." It said it had already been paid for . . . . I didn't listen to the whole message.
Unbelievable****holes!
calls and there is no one on the other side of the line
