I have absolutely no idea who this person is or how they even got my number?

Came up on my caller ID as brio Tuscan gri.****uming gri is grille. All I got in voice mail was the sound of someone ****ing up.

Received a recording stating that I could lower the interest rate on my credit card to as low as 6.9%. I am on the national DO NOT CALL registry. Looked at " http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0259-robocalls " for more information on illegal telemarketing calls and what to do

Says on my caller Id they are from Annapolis MD They called and said that my credit card was fine (No mention of whom the card was with) but to lower my interest rate I should press 1. LIve person said they were happy to reduce my interest rate as low as 6%,. I asked which card, he said in thick Indian accent VISA, MASTERCARD, CHASE, BANK OF AMERICA I said that was impossible to open and that this was likely a scam, he then quickly ***g up on me.

About my account. Yeah, recorded message. SPAM for sure!!!

Got called today. Same message as reported by others here. Hal, thanks for the number to report the call to. Great info. My older mother that lives 3,000 miles away, is getting multiple calls a day from someone with this pitch. Its driving her crazy. She tries to talk and rationalize with them and calls her credit card company and yells at them for calling her. If course.... they aren't calling her and are helpless. I promised to help her but didn't know where to s****.

Currently, this number is being used for illegal recorded message calls about lowering your credit card rates. Using a recorded message is a***nst the law for marketing and you can report these calls to the FTC even if you are not on the national do not call list. Report these and other calls at 1-888-382-1222. Reporting temarketing and scam calls doesn't work overnight, but it DOES WORK. We hardly get any calls now, but we have been on the DNC list for about 5 years and I report ALL junk calls that we get. Anyway, this outfit will say they have your information and just need to verify it, but remember that they called you. And why do they ask for more than just the last 4 numbers of your card? Give them fake information and they will say it matches your account. DO NOT GIVE YOUR REAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE THAT CALLS YOU. If you think they may be real, ask for their number and call them back. But even then you might be getting fooled. Be very careful!!!
