Ok so this number keeps calling me also and when I did a search on it I found the address to the number and its coming up a Comfort Inn in Elkridge , md. Scammer for sure.

A charge of $599.00 to Amazon

I missed their call so I called them back. The caller sounded for foreign. They had very bad reception. The person asked if I authorized a $599 Amazon transactions, I knew I didn’t so I said no. They then proceeded to say to stop the transaction they would need access to my acct information, account number and routing number. I cursed them out, said they were a scam and ***g up.

Claimed they needed my SSN because it had been compromised and that I was being investigated. I’ve never fallen for so****ing like this, but they ALMOST got me even though I’m very cautious. These people are dangerous.

The Social Security website says they do not call and leave these messages.
