Leave a Commentgot a call from them on my cell. called back on my government line and told the person that they called my cell. He immediately ***g up on me.
Have called 5 times today. I don't answer, but just ticks me off when I'm sitting on the couch, just getting comfortable and the **** phone rings with one of these calls and I have to haul my a** up only to find it to be a call I'm not gonna answer anyway. Grrrrr!
Called at 11:45 am. Didn't leave a message. Thats fine, I wasn't going to call them back anyways. Although I did fall out of my chair at Duke's answer.
The call comes from the town of Glen Burnie in the state of Maryland. It is a telemarketer trying to play the debt consolidation game. It has been added to my zap list. That means as soon as I see it on Caller ID, I pickup and immediately **** up. Fun!
Called at 11:09 this am. Will NOT answer out of state, unidentified 'Unavailable' numbers. No message left on voice mail unlike the politcal calls. (yech)
No message was left. I am on "Do Not Call" list; I read the "whocallsme.com" notes about this phone number. I have found "whocallsme.com" to be a credible source in the past; so, I filed a complaint report with the FCC.You may do so at:https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088!createConsumer.actionIt takes a while to complete the form - typical government form which tries to cover ALL contingencies - it would be easier to complete if one has actually spoken to the caller. AND, it would probably carry more weight from one of you who actually spoke to the caller and advised them of your "Do Not Call" status

They didn't say a word...and ***g up.
You say in your second line "when the Indian agent answered the phone", so in his terms you called him. That is why the pedantic little dolt felt comfortable sticking with his script. To resist pressing any number seems to be the only solution if the urge to pick up your own phone overcomes common sense and previous experience.
When I received the call, it was 3:22 PM and it said international. i was curious about the call, so i picked up and listened to the recording, i hit 1 (even though my credit is fine) and when the indian agent answered the phone, i said that i was on the Do Not Call List in the united states and i wanted to know why he called. 2x he said that he did not call me and 2x's i said i know that he personally did not call me but his company did and i wanted to know why and who they are and i wanted the calls to stop. I lost it when for the 3rd time he said he did not call me, I yelled at him, "I know YOU didnt call me, you jack a** but your company did-it is because of people like you that there are comedies in the US making fun of Indian workers." guess now i will be ****arded with calls!
Received a call from this number. I do not answer unknown caller and I am on the NO CALL LIST...Get a grip...Do not call.....
called at 6:28pm here. no message left. caller id said "out of area." I really like Duke's approach, I'll have to try that next time. Too Funny!
That a way to go Duke!!! You have it under controlVecoya
I got a call at 10 45 am 7/22/10 caller id showed glen burnie md I did not pick up and no message was left
I did so****ing similar that. I used a strange voice and said "My interest rate is 4% can you lower it?" The rep -also in a foreign voice- said "Yes, how much do you owe?" I replied so****ing like "$2,567,987 ." The Rep replied "Any cents?" I ***g up.
I was in a good mood so I thought I'd have some fun. Typical robo-call sales pitch for some rip-off credit card reduction scheme. I pressed "1" to speak to someone. A foreign-accented guy said "Hello, my name is John, how are you?" I told him that my ********s were itchy. Silence. "Excuse me, sir?" I told him that my ********s were really itchy but was otherwise OK. Silence. "Do you have any outstanding credit card debt or medical bills?" My answer: no. Then John ***g up. I guess he had no solution to my itchy ********s.
Also in Arizona, called me with rambling debt consolidation press 1.... blah blah blah 10am I have been on the do not call registry for 9 months
Call at 6:33AM local time from this number - they cannot even figureout what time it is in Arizona. I did not pick up. No message left..
Some debt consolidation ripoff company who doesn't give their name in Caller ID or in their recorded announcement. Nothing screams shady outfit like refusing to reveal who is violating the Do Not Call List.
Got a call from this number at 6:45 p.m. today. I have caller ID, so since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't pick up, waited for the answering ma****e to pickup. No message was left.
They called my cell.
