Did not pick up no message left, when I looked up the number on Google is says it’s a Kenneth S. From the SS in Maryland, when I called back nothing but busy beeping. Not a legit call if you ask me.

I received this call at 12:35 PM on a Sa****ay afternoon. The female caller stated s.he was from Social Security and that they had sent me 2 forms to fill out dating back to December 2022. I told her I never received them so she wanted to fill out the form over the phone. I told her fine. She never asked me for my birthday, SSN or any other personal information.

I don’t know if this is Spam. I look it up. It says it’s Social Security. They called me three times in a row, left no message. I did not answer.

The call came from Baltimore, MD with the number 410-965-1234. On a Sa****ay morning. Do not give any information to anyone from these numbers. When in doubt, always call the SSN office during business hours.

They called my husband wanted to know his SS number, said she needed to know when to s**** his check, also when my husband questioned her, she wanted to give him another number he could call and verify that she was legit!! We gave her nothing, and we are reporting her to SS !!! She used the name of my husband's social security worker!!!! SCAM

Scammer! Called my mom and asked for her birthdate. When she wouldn't give it, he got angry and that was her sign to get off the phone. Also, called her twice, once on a Sa****ay! Why the weekend? Scammer, folks!!

I could tell immediately so****ing was off as it was a super generic and random number I had never seen before. social Security has always called me from a 1-800 number. Always. I gave them no information. She claimed she mailed so****ing out to me to fill out. I knew that was a lie.

When I challenged the fact that they had the roles reversed didn't say who the person was that they had claimed to be my daughter they said oh family member. The Caller ID said it was "The United States Government". I didn't pick up because it appeared fishy, especially given no VM has ever been left. But they have been calling me at least twice a day all week.

They are most likely part of the scam, trying to make people feel comfortable about taking the calls seriously, and giving out personal information. They know that people look up unknown numbers to find out if they are scams. I call the SSA and they said it is a scam.

Lady stated she was from SS disability. Call was on a Sunday!!?? She stated to call back. Left a different phone number-410-594-2138. Called this number. At no time did a recording state it was SSA. Could not leave a message. Mailbox was full. Transferred to another number and the mailbox was full a***n. Just saying- I don't think Social Security would call on a Sunday.

I believe that it is a scam because if they needed to verify information from you then they would do it by mail. They would also provide you with some information that they have about you as well. Due to the sensitivity of dealing with people’s personal information I would think that the SSA would have sense enough to take the extra measures to make people comfortable about providing it if needed. I hope the perpetrators get caught.

That number keeps calling me repeatedly and I haven't answered it. I just looked it up because it shows up as U.S. Govt Dept and I was wondering why on earth they would be calling me..

I've had 1 message and a number of calls with no message. The one message was from a woman whose name was common (like Anna Smith below), and when I called the number she gave it was a recordin with her vouice saying leave my SS# and date of birth etc. YA RIGHT LIKE I'M GOING TO DO THAT.Some of the posts here say I'm a G man etc and that the call is legit. HOW DO WE KNOW THE PERSON POSTING POSITIVE COMMENTS IS LEGIT? Do your own work and find out for yourself. Personally I would not give out any info over phone unless I AM SURE I know what agency I'm dealing with. With technology it's easy to s**** an official name for caller ID. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
