I got a phone call from this number 5 min ago. It was someone called Emily who wanted to set up an interview with me. She said she's from XXX company, I didn't hear clearly, and it's located in Pittsburgh somewhere. Anyway, I said you can just send me an email and I'll call you back...
I got a call from this number as well. I did have my resume on career builder. All companies have a automated email response as well. I do not see this as a scam when every other company does the same thing as American Income. I actually kept reading the posts about American Income. There were actually more positive articles than negative. I actually went to the interview. I liked what American Income had to say. However I declined the position due to me and my family moving out of the area. Do you research and find out if you want to go in or not. I would not however just go off of all these messages.
Also received from this number and one other that was eerily similar. I'm also on career builder and monster.com. Real recruiters leave messages! These people don't.
Nearly in English!!!!! Like innit.

HiI received the exact same email this morning. Thanks for the warning, I am going to ignore it. Damn scammers.
I just got a call not 10mins ago and I have been looking for info on this company ever since. I need a job but based on this...It is never going to happen!Thank you everyone for all your helpful comments. I have been almost rapped up in to many scams, because these people feed on college students! Lucky meThanks again!!!
Hello All!So I got a call earlier this morning from the mystery number and then just now I got this lame email from SIMON ARIAS with American Income. Here is the email that I got. Looks like Simon took over where Jessica left off.Be Careful!Hi, my name is SIMON ARIAS and I am a State Director for American Income. I saw your resume on the internet and felt that I should contact you immediately. Our company currently has openings for several outstanding individuals like you. If you are an individual seeking a financially rewarding position with a company that is part of the Torchmark Corporation (TMK), a company that truly believes in honesty, integrity and trust, then I would like to speak with you. Please call my office at 412-235-2385 so we can schedule an interview.Best regards,SIMON ARIAS American Income
Same as another poster here - American Income Life - caller left a message, said she got my name/resume from Career Builder and they're interested in interviewing me - I called back and left a message saying, I don't know why you'd be interested in me (science teacher here with management & lab research experience) but if this has anything to do with selling insurance, please take my name off your list, as I am not now nor have I ever been (or will ever choose to be) in insurance sales. And yet they continue to call, but now they're not leaving messages....
Yep, as stated above, it's kind of a scam. Not really, though. It's an MLM structured company. So if MLM is your game, go for it. Otherwise, search for work elsewhere. Better still, if you are interested in MLM's that work, try one of the successful companies that do this: Amway, Avon, Tupperware, just to name a few. Good Luck to all!btw, they called me, and research on the net clearly pointed to the MLM scheme being employed here. Their refusal to admit this up front is kind of sleazy, so beware.
THey called me; Shannon, and said they were very, very, interested in talking to me. They stated that they got my name off career builder. She said her boss was also interested in talking to me...LIES!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this helps.
American income called to set up an interview found my resume online everything I have read online this company is a scam
i've got at least 15 calls from this number and they haven't left any message.
I received a call from this number yesterday with a message stating her name was Elizabeth from American Income Co, that she has a copy of my resume (probably from Monster or Career Builder) and wants to set up an interview. After doing some research on American Income (Life Insurance) I found a LOT of negative feedback from previous employees. Essentially it's a scam. And I'd rather flip burgers at McDonald's than sell life insurance or recruit others to do it.
This number has called me three times in the past 2 days......but never leaves a message. Not sure who it is but I will not answer until they leave a message.
Yeah I just got this call. I guess they got my resume off career builder or Monster. It's gotta be a scam. Only scams and telemarketers call from Unknown Name.
I received a call from this number and they left a message stating they were from American Income. They got hold of my resume posted on careerbuilder and are trying to recruit. I heard they are a scam outfit so I will ignore.
Arias Management - Union Representive or something? Unsure.
