I got a similar call too.. The man said he was an officer and did not speak very good english.. I would not call back , as they are most likely scammers and will say anything to get money and you dont even know who they are!!! All debt collection is a civil matter, if any and no one will come to your house.. They need to send everything via mail.. If you do talk to them tell them to send you all the original docs in the mail.  Most likely these people are illegal and are over seas. Don't stress. The number on a call search in unknown. So a real company would have a name.  Hope this helps.

I need to know if these two phone numbers are scam numbers because I got a call from two different people, from two different phone numbers.  They are claiming that I owe $4800 on a payday loan from USA cash.  They claim to be a law firm, if I couldn't pay $1,053.49, then someone would come to the house to send me to court.  I have never heard of USA cash.  I don't see any of it on my credit report.  These are the two phone numbers:  412-290-7034 and 209-249-8208.  I am really terrified.  I just need to know if I am going to be ok and to not worry about anything.  They claim to know my new address, social security number and they know my cellphone number.  They also claimed that they tried to get in touch with me and that payment options have passed.  Is this a scam and if it is what do I need to do so it doesn't happen a***n.  Please let me know as soon as possible.
